Movies people seem to hate

A spinoff of the worst movie ever made thread.
And yes, I know it has all been done before.
But amuse me, ok?
Movies on that list that shock  me:
~Matrix
~Lost in Translation
~Juno

I hated/hate everything about it.
Juno is great. People that find Juno an annoying character should hang out with some people I know for a while
As for the Matrix, highly entertaining bollocks. I'll always hate Keanu for what he did to My Own Private Idaho though.
Which movies do you LOVE that people gripe about (complain about to you)
And I don't feel right when you're gone away
sorry folks...too much vino colapso
The one with Matt Dillon, not James Spader.
Terrible, contrived, manipulative movie, yet somehow it won Best Picture.
but some people say it's shit
what am I, a feckin lap dog?
Not just one Jamie.
And I don't feel right when you're gone away
lol
I don't understand this either. And I was never a LOTR dork. No offense to you LOTR dorks.

The Return of the King was on TV tonight though and I realised they're looking dated already, CGI-wise. in 30 years people are going to look back and laugh in the same way people do now when they watch films like The Lost World with their stop-motion lizards. That's the problem with using hi-tech methods of film-making. They won't be hi-tech for long.
yeah i didn't understand the whole bruhaha about LOTR until i finally gave in and saw the 1st one and then i turned into a flaming geek. FLAMING lol
jeremy you think the CGI in return of the king looks dated already? i think it's still holding up, to my eyes anyway. it's done well enough that it'll hold up i think for a long while.
Me neither, but when the people I like are here, like tonite, I enjoy it.
I could never stand when Legolas comes sliding down the "elephant" shooting arrows...that is bad cgi.
But I think they did an amazing job with Golum.
And I don't feel right when you're gone away
yeah that sliding thing was done badly, but it's a cool scene just for the badassedness (is that a word? lol) of it. i agree the way they did gollum was incredible, the textures and expressions and everything. some movies are overwhelmed by special effects to the detriment of the story, with the LOTR ones it only helped enhance the story.
Of course badassedness is a word.
And alot of people say they didn't like Crash or the Departed. Weird to me. But I understand I guess.
I HATED Matt Dillon's character in Crash....dick...
And I don't feel right when you're gone away
i liked how they did those giant hamster hog things (i can't remember the name of 'em lol) in the 3rd one
sweet, badassedness is officially a word!
i really liked the departed, except for the *very* last minute. i wished i had left right before that minute....was sorta like having a great meal and then finding a hair at the bottom of your plate
never saw crash, i think i'm the only one in the planet who hasn't lol
fight club
But yeah, it was like, enough with the twists and turns already.
And I don't feel right when you're gone away
I have watched them many times now, tho.
I kind of get it. haha
And I don't feel right when you're gone away
the shot that bothered me....i don't wanna mess it up for anybody who hasn't seen it, but it was just a quick thing at the very end...was so heavy-handed, just made me go 'bwah bwah bwaaaaaaaaah'
I just gave it away that Marky Mark is alive at the end.
And I don't feel right when you're gone away
the worst part was the psychiatrist....not only was she annoying and not a good actor, but what was the purpose of her character?
the movie was a mess and not scorsese's best work
