if it's just for guitar hero, the ps2 has the most guitar hero games available. only guitar hero 2 and 3 are available for the xbox 360 and ps3. there are 4 gh games out for the ps2."let's hug it out, bitch."

The game is so basic, you can run it on a Pentium I.
I'd say not XBox unless you like replacing it every few months. PS3 if you like paying $1000 to play a game.
EDIT: You can't really run it on a Pentium I, but there is nothing special about the game that requires certain hardware.I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. which guitar hero game are you starting with? are you getting one of the wireless guitars? i need to do that...i have the first corded guitar that came out. it works with all of the games, but i hear the fret buttons are spaced better and have a better feel than the wired ones. supposedly, you don't have to mash the frets like you do with the wired guitars."let's hug it out, bitch."

i just purchased it
guitar hero 3 -- i think all 3 are wireless
and i purchased a used ps2 for $90
so i will learn that darn yellow buttonGarden Dogg wrote:which guitar hero game are you starting with? are you getting one of the wireless guitars? i need to do that...i have the first corded guitar that came out. it works with all of the games, but i hear the fret buttons are spaced better and have a better feel than the wired ones. supposedly, you don't have to mash the frets like you do with the wired guitars.http://s278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/Moonturltemoon/PJ MSG 6-24-08/

ok...so you bought guitar hero 3 with the guitar? it comes with the black wireless one, right? you can use a wireless guitar with all 4 of the games, but when i started playing, they hadn't come out with wireless ones yet; i still use the wired one. let me know how you like the guitar that came with 3.
ha! yes, the yellow button. i'm still struggling with the blue one. i beat all of the games on easy, but kind of spaz out on medium. i can't even fathom hard and expert."let's hug it out, bitch."

Dudes, the yellow button is the third button from the top. The orange button is the last one, after blue.
I've had the game two weeks and I'm almost finished Hard difficulty.
See, the Cerebellum is responsible for playing Guitar Hero. You gotta train it through practice and let it do it's thing without trying to think too much about it, otherwise your Frontal associative brain regions will interfere with the Cerebellum. Some planning is required, but don't expect to win that way. You need to train your Cerebellum to do it, just like playing a Violin or a real guitar, or riding a bike, driving a car, etc...I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Really?
That is strange.
I touch-type and I do a lot of spinning of objects with my fingers. So, they are all in pretty good shape. I guess I can't imagine that kind of inoperability. But the yellow button? That'd be your ring finger, right? What do you use your pinky for?I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. My nephew (who turns 16 soon) is madly in love with this game, I have played guitar for years and I know he wants to get into it and when I saw him going nuts on this game last night, I was like...........awesome....then a small tear appeared in the corner of my eye.>>>>
