sooo went to a friend's he has guitar hero but on wireless playstation, yet my cousin has guitar hero on i think it is wii

help-- I don't know the difference and I think I want one.

They aren't compatible.

If you buy the Wii version you will only be able to play with other Wii owners and vice versa.

As far as gameplay differences, if you are talking PS2 I don't think there is many differences.

But PS3 and 360 have additional DLC, I believe 360 has another character "God of Rock", while Wii has a character called "Metalhead".

I'm assuming you are talking about GH3

You can download something called "Frets on Fire" or so I hear. It doesn't have a guitar though, I don't think. I think it's just a freeware rip-off of guitar hero.

It's a fun game.

I'm playing on hard, had the game for a couple of weeks. 80% through hard career. 9% through expert career.

guitar hero 3 is coming out for macs next month. you could buy a used ps2, which gives you the ability to play gh, gh 2, gh rocks the 80s and gh 3.

guitar hero 3 is whats coming out for macs. i doubt they will release the original games on that platform. used ps2s go for $90, $130 for new ones.

I was showing the game to my 78 year old aunt (she is getting it for her great grandchild), she laughed at me and said all you are showing me is that you cant play that yellow button and they booing you off stage.

lol! wait til you get up to using 4 buttons. i almost smashed that damn plastic guitar a couple of times.

i rented gh3 yesterday. it was really fun playing evenflow and it's the master track--not some band trying to sound like pj.
