Be smart if you go the Stubhub route

I used to have season tickets to my local MLB club. Of course I couldnt make it to ALL the games, so I sold the ones I couldnt attend on Stubhub. Doing this for a couple years I find there are definate trends to prices people set.

Of course ALL sellers are going to START with the highest price they can get. Thats why youll see $1000's of dollars here to start. DONT GIVE IN to these ridiculous prices. If you have the stomach for it, and dont mind waiting, these prices will drop SIGNIFICANTLY about 10 days before the show. You will see sellers that havent sold thier seats drop their prices dramatically. The last thing they want is to be stuck with the tickets in the end. Stubhub garauntees shipment 2-day delivery, so if you buy 4-5 days before the show, you're ok.

Of course this is an extremely high demand show, so youre not likey to see face-value tickets, unless you get REALLY brave and wait until 2 days before the show and then MAYBE someone who couldnt attend will post them. But dont pay 8x face, or even 4x. If you wait youll likely get some for 2x or less.

Just my 2 cents, from experience.

agreed, i get my mets tickets off stubhub ,field level every time for slightly above face. I get the a day or two before, but stubhub has an office just outside of shea so you can literally wait til the last minute.
