could he have made better choices? yes.
could he have learned from others before him? yes.
did he let the 'good life' get the best of him? yes.

would you feel bad for britney spears or lindsay lohan if they lost everything? my guess is no. i also guess you'd feel that way b/c they were irresponsible.

for what it's worth, i think GC was irresponsible. he had a future set for him and he chose to gamble with it. for that, i don't sympothize.

Tell me what, you get your own sitcom and become a child movie star at 10, then get screwed over mercilessly by your parents, then get older and lose your cute factor so nobody wants you anymore, then become washed up career wise before you're 20, and get back to me on how perfect and awesome you would be.

    You haven't any idea.
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

im sorry he is an adult and he did win some serious money in that lawsuit. its his fault he wasted that money. he could have went to college and became a lawyer or banker or anything. heck i know people that did crack when they were younger and now work lousy factory jobs but they can make a living still and were never given $1.2 million. they restarted their life with nothing. if he wants pity he will get it. if he wants to be something more than a washup he might have to do something with his life other than the old 'woe is me' stunt.
