Aww, and I prefer Energizer to Duracell :(

Good thing I don't use rechargeable D batteries.

    Not surprising
On a side note, I have used the same 4 Powerex AA (the brand this guy is pimping in his article) in my digital camera for almost 5 years and they are just now starting to go bad. Best batteries I have ever used.

I got them here though. http://thomasdistributing.com/

Rechargeables are always lower capacity... duh.... i think 1.2 or something as opposed to non rechargeable which are 1.5V... anyway... they cost so much because they are rechargeable... also wqho cares if they put air in a battery.... i bought quite a few batteries the other day.. and i was asked if i needed a plastic bag.. to which i said no because i was already doing the environment enough damage by buying batteries :) and i could also carry them :)

    air in batteries reduces landfill...

Nobody I guess if they're free. Air is supposed to be free.

Do you steal all your batteries?
