Weird stuff - the Perry Farrell connection!

Ok, having been stalked by him at lolla last year... seemed everywhere I went he'd start setting up stage in front of me. I saw him 4 times and got to shake his hand twice :D even though I'd NO fucking clue who he was.

Well it gets weirder... I saw The Doors in Whisky a go go's in 2000... I've only NOW discovered that it was actually Perry Farrell who was singing that night  so I've seen this guy 5 times and couldn't even name one of his songs :D

Anyone else have any weird coincidences like that?

How so? They have no links to Pearl Jam really. And they kinda suck. They're not big at all over this side of the pond.

My brother has this uncanny ability to run into Liam or Noel Gallagher almost every time they come to Toronto. The last time it happaned they remembered his name.

:D well those who know me will have no problem believing this... but I walked right past Noel Gallagher in the lobby of our hotel in Chicago  and only when we got out, the girls I was with were all going on about it and I was thinking 'I've fucking done it again' :D . Is your brother an Oasis fan? :D

It was funny though first time I shook his hand I literally had nothing to say cos I was just starting to become aware of who he was... so I just shook his hand, said hello and walked off :D he probably thought I was starstruck, lol.

Navarro and Farrell are cool fuckers, they got some rockin tunes and a wicked live album. I'd of thought they'd blow away the majority of british acts.

If I walked past one of the gallaghers I'd spit in their scrotey face, weather permitting of course.

And I'll reiterate... I thought Farrell was GREAT live, especially considering I knew none of his stuff.

Agrees, Three Days is an epic masterpiece in the midst of an amazing album which most certainly does not suck, then again Hitch-Hiker your the guy who tried to tell me Oasis doesn't suck the other day, matter of personal opinion, each to their own and all that.:)

But one thing I'm pretty sure of, Oasis couldn't write a song with the structure and signature changes of Three Days, their 3 chord rule just wouldnt be able to comprehend it.
