important players yeh..i thought Culina was good against Liverpool
what a good buy Mendez is too!
very impressive for a player to make an immediate impact for a new club

can't say the same for Liverpool..our new signings are taking too long to gel and the rest of the team are still tired from last season and the WC.
Alonso and Gerrard have been crap so far among others..

I thought Kuyt and Bellemy were pretty good against PSV.

yeh Bellamy had a good game..linked up well with Kuyt but the finishing touch is always missing from him.
a player like Bellamy needs to play every week to perform at his best..so at a club who rotates all the time..i think Bellamy might not do too well.
I will always prefer Crouch over him cos Crouch keeps posession of the ball longer and links up much better with the midfielders.

True, but Kuijt is pretty good at that as well. With gerrard in the back of the strikers it is a sure thing for goals. I do think Kuijt and crouch can also be a good duo, but Kuijt did really well at Feyenoord with a moving partner.

You guys have the same problem like Ajax, always thinking back on the history.

"We are the world leaders with titles" = very good with only 1 opponont

"We won 4 times the EC1" (ajax) = good for you, we have the future.

I'm glad you guys have a good history, it's the only thing that remind you guys that you were good.

many suggest Kuyt and Crouch won't work cos they are somewhat similar and lack pace..i dunnoe i think give them a shot..they did very well for the 10 minutes Crouch came on against Chelski.

haha, the truth is sometimes very hard. And yes, I search it on google and now I know what the score was. But this is from the 20th century. Wake up we are living in the 21th century. But no hard feeling, my friend.

Yes they are somewhat similair, but Kuijt can and has played in the back of a bigger striker. So it could definitely work. Still I liked Kuijt/Bellamy as well.
Why did they sell Sinema Pongol?

Sure there is no use in living in the past, but you have to be able to look back from time to time, otherwise there is no point in doing well in the present.

I think Bellamy has linked up best with Fowler and against lower opposition..so if i was Rafa...i'd quit rotating and find my best 11..use Bellamy and Fowler against smaller opposition.

well Sinama...he wanted more games..definitely not gonna get them at Liverpool.
he's only on loan though...hope for a permanent deal soon along with Cisse.

As for Rangers history we were founded 1873, who has history like us?! We're proud of our history, why not? whats the point supporting a team if you don't feel like that.
We can't help the league we have to play in.

I would pick at least 7 or 8 players and give them the certainty of playing. A team needs consistency.

    Off course, I understand it.

But I always say this against my ajax-friends. They still really think they can win the CL. Be proud on your history, but don't forget to look in the future.

So no wrangle about this ;):)
