She had to move out of the way for me yet she didnt even acknowledge that I was there. Girls are so damn ridiculous sometimes.........that is all.

want to know what i wouldve done if i was her?

hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say0 -
Why is this an issue?
Did you want her to scream and shout at you? Run up and plant a smacker on your lips with a "Oh how i've missed you!"? Or just say hi and have that awkward silence?
She's an ex and not acknowledging you maybe her way of dealing things, she might have other stuff on her mind OR MAYBE she didn't even realise it was you...Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...
... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.0 -

I keep hoping I'll see mine around town, now that I'm in our mutual hometown for the week. Though I'd not be happy if that was the reaction I got either.she was underwhelmed, if that's a word0

This is a girlfriend from quite a few years ago and she broke up with me with no reason to give me so I should be the one that holds a grudge but I would have at least said hello or something except for she wouldnt even turn her head to look at me when she had to move so I could walk past.Alpine Valley 2000

i think the real problem lies with you, why should you care so much if she's noticed you or not?0 -
Maybe he was going to say hi and she totally snubbed him.genie wrote:i think the real problem lies with you, why should you care so much if she's noticed you or not?
Either way, if she has enough of a problem with him to ignore him and he has enough of a problem with her to care if she noticed him or not, they both have a problem.0 -

Or maybe she's just a petty heartless bitch. What's so bad about him being a little put out that a girl he once cared about totally blew him off? That's going to sting for anybody that has any human emotions.she was underwhelmed, if that's a word0 -

That is exactly how I feel about her now. As I said, I never did anything wrong to her and basically treated her like royalty and she broke up with me out of nowhere yet I would still at least have the decency to at last smile and say hi yet she noticed me walking by so she just moved out of the way and didnt even look at me.Alpine Valley 2000

I've got to say I think totally blanking anyone is really quite rude in any circumstances and I hate it when people I see people I know vaguely who make eye contact and then put their head down and walk past, nevermind an ex or someone I used to care about, it's just out of order. How hard is it to incline your head or something?
Seems to me that pjoasisrule catches shit from people here regardless of what his posts actually say. I think he's got a point here."I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"0 -
sometimes i think that i am the only one that is cool with all my exgirlfriends....all 3 of them
Esther's here and she's sick?
hi Esther, now we are all going to be sick, thanks0 -
I have agree with OP here, one of my ex's did it all the time - i didnt particularly want to talk to her anyway but the blanking was pretty insulting. It also happened to my current girlfriend with an ex of hers when we were out recently - that was the first time id seen a guy do it, and man, its just so ignorant.
If pjoasisrule's ex had just even nodded / said "hi" and nothing else happened, the moment wouldve been uneventful but polite, neither memorable for a good or a bad reason....but i think (like Jeremy012 said) blanking someone under any circumstance is rude.0 -
Its an awkward situation. Maybe she felt too uncomfortable to speak, or maybe she didn't want to make you feel uncomfortable.
And then, if she ditched you, maybe she was expecting to be blanked herself and so pre empted it.A human being that was given to fly.

If there was a reason, it was you.

Yes we are.....but we have the right to be!

its just common knowledge that no matter how nice you are to a girl and how good you treat them...they still like to take a dump on your head and make you feel like shit.0
