    was she with a current boyfriend by any chance? that could have something to do with it.

    also---even if she turned her back a little, why not just tap her on the shoulder and say hi as you walk past her?

    Nope, I wouldnt do that because she noticed I was coming and then turned around and moved. I wasnt with my girlfriend now either so I just dont understand what would have made it awkward. By the way, oddly, 2 of my other friends ex girlfriends were out that night as well.
