    I had a mate from Germany here for a while, he would sit in the pub with me after football and be aghast at all these fellas telling each other to " go fu** yourself...", "yeah, that's what your wife says to me..." etc, etc... he was truly waiting for a fight to break out, when it was just what we call lads being lads...taking the piss, if you like :)

    Yeah when I lived on the other side of the pond I had to rein in my natural Brit trait of taking the piss constantly ... I would be taken seriously far too often.

    My friend referred to Madonna as 'as old as dirt' the other day which made me chuckle!
