    i disagree. :)

i have verizon for my land line, fios internet and cable, and pay under $100 a month. and no, not a special fee.....just the triple-play package or whatever you call it. i think verizon or the cable co. you get a better deal the more business you give em, period. i DO know some neighbors who have their phone thru the cable company, and when the'r cable goes out - whcih does seem to happen more often than phone lines - they also lose their phone. once our cell phone service plan is up with AT&T, we are also switching it to verizon. LOVE the fios service! hopefully the cell phone rates will be just as competitive. i am amazed that between the triple package + 2 cell phones ($67 a month) almost $185 after all the taxes.....and for what? hahaha. amazing......

Yes if you have the triple package with Verizon you will save money, without having to switch, but I don't know if Fios is available everywhere. I know where I live you can only get Optimum, as far as cable is concerned, and when I lived in my old place, different town, you could only have Comcast. I have also heard from a bunch of family and friends that they where terribly disappointed with Fios' internet service.

yes, i do realize it all depends where you are. i've never had cable at all. only recently decided to get it thru verizon, but we've had fios since it began. we were lucky, one of the first areas in the country to get it. personally, i cannot imagine anyone being disappointed with their internet service - it is the BEST! it is the fastest connection and it never goes out on us. love, love, love it! i would never get rid of fios, ever...so for us, the verizon package was the way to go. besides, as i said - i like a reliable land-line, 'just in case'.....and i know far too many who lose their phone when cable lines go down, which seems to happen often here for whatever reason. i *heart* fios! :)
    Stay with me...
    Let's just breathe...

I am myself like you somehow

I used to love my previous cable provider, Comcast. Their internet service was amazing plus their cable packages where great. Where I live now I have to use Optimum and I fucking hate it. As for the phone service I really don't care since I most use my cell phone anyway.

    I kid, I kid.
I am lucky that I have an awesome truck/car/small suv. And a hybrid! :) And it is an 07 and I owe no money on it. :)
But it just seems like everyone is out to get you.
The only bill that is working for the person that is trying to be good is the electric co. And the oil comp, sort of. At least with these bills you can have a little control over the bill.
I am in good shape, good health. I should not be paying the same amount in health insurance that some fat, out of shape person with high cholesterol is paying. Truly. And I should get a discount for working out.

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

I don't usually do this, but... for x-mas, I am mailing you my cat, Mr. Chuckles. He has been trained to meow Christmas carols and shake his bell collar. I also have a Salvation Army change bucket you can use. Just set up Mr. Chuckles outside a mall or busy store and then kick back and wait for the money to roll in. Well, you actually have to go empty the bucket and give Mr. Chuckles a little food once in a while, but you get the idea…

i had posted b4 how my dad got rid of his landline and replaced it with "magic jack" -- local and long distance calls for $19/year unlimited. A child can install it it is so easy. my question is, if it's via the computer, does it have to be turned on 24/7. I would think it would run up your electric bill. I too have too many different phone bills.
