anyone ever do Salvia Divinorum?

I tried it once with a friend and we had no noticeable effects but, to be honest, we were naive and stupid and smoked it in a joint, which apparently doesn't work because it needs to be very hot to release the psychoactive agents :)
I want to try it again though and was just wondering, to anyone who has done it, what would you recommend as the best method? I was thinking of using a pipe but should I just pack it with the salvia or use tobacco/marijuana and sprinkle the salvia extract on it? also, how was your experience?

    We just packed it in a pipe. Stick with the reefer though.

    It works. The kind I smoked, the buzz lasted for 10-20 minutes. Started out as maniacal laughter, but when it started wearin off, got super pissed, I know it was the drug, b/c all of the sudden I just snapped outta bein pissed(mad) and was fine.

    ^^^^^^ This whole process was about 20 minutes from the start of feelin it to snappin outta the anger.

    I did salvia x60 just last week and it fucking ruled, was my first time, 3 huge bong hits, i was lost, did it in the park, rainy day, was MENTAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Watching my friends do salvia at the Download festival in June was pretty much the highlight of the weekend. Most of them just fell down laughing and had hallucinations in the tent afterwards, but one of them decided his life was in danger and took off running into the camp site. Probably would still be running now if we hadn't stopped him. Fun times.
    I think they smoked it in a pipe.

    was the trip intense with that kind of strength? much visuals/hallucinations?

    I've done x100. But I didn't buy it in the US.

    There were definitely visual hallucinations. Lots of weird shit. It was really fun. Pack it in a bowl and take a big hit. Then hold it in your lungs for as long as you can (at least 30 seconds or so). The shit can knock you on your ass. But like some of the above posters said, it wears off quickly. So either be prepared to just keep smoking a lot of it or just smoke some pot after.

    definately a total mind fuck...one might be happy that it lasts only 5-10 minutes. i'll have to break some out again one of these days

    ??? Where I come from we have a hemp store that sells this salvia in 10x, 20x and 40x strengths in one gram bags. I didn't know you could just grow it.

    alright, I just purchased online a rather nice metal and wooden pipe plus some Hawaiian Baby Woodrose seeds (containing LSA, which is chemically similar to LSD. these are unrelated items, the Woodrose is ingested orally but I will try to find a nice cheap head shop in london that sells salvia quite cheap.

    incidentally, has anyone ever done Woodrose or LSA? it was really cheap but 90% of users suffer severe nausea... I think I can handle it.

    i dont know if you will like the forum but if you goto shroomery.org/forums the forum called "the psychedelic experience" has tons of salvia trip reports and all kinds of information about shit u seem interested in.
