    The driver stopped, and to be fair looked in a worse state than the kid. Half of me felt really sorry for the kid, the other half wanted to go up and shout ' THIS is why your Mum always tells you to be careful :mad:'

    Hah yeah, the kind of thing where if you're the parent, you hug and kiss them madly from relief and then scream at them for the next 3 hours for being stupid :)

    I'd have done the latter... not everyday you get the oppotunity to be "the nasty lady who'll tell you off!" ;)

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    Broke my pinky playing football last night. It was within the last 24 ours. I have a swollen purple sausage where my finger used to live. Broken bone # 234,567 for me, or close. I've lost track.

    Got my upper wisdom teeth taken out a few hours ago and I'm oozing blood from my mouth.

    I'm now patiently waiting for someone to knock on my door and kick me in the balls to finish my day off right.

    My friend who lost her husband recently just got word that her 2yo twins have 'significant global development delay' and need speech, occupational and physiotherapy.

    I also just got an email saying she had terrible dreams of her husband all night.

    This is the most innocent, sweetest and strong individual I know and this world is testing her more than I reckon I could handle. Suffice to say its killing me too!!!!!!!!
    I'll ride the wave where it takes me.

    Finding out my friends 500metres up the road from me lost the roof and back wall of their house in the storm. (although, that did not make my sunday, not my wednesday.... delayed post due to power being out!!)

    BUT: today finding out that some of their uninsured electrical gear still works after being rained on for the last 48 hours due to not having a roof Totally made my day :)
