    Here' another strange one...

    In 2003 I lost a good good friend, her name was Valerie.

    For a good 6 months after her death everywhere I went I happened to hear that Steve Winwood song Valerie. If I actually listened to classic rock I wouldn't have thought so much about it....I'm an alternative music geek and am always on the new music radio stations.

    But I still heard Valerie everywhere. My bosses car, the mall, the bookstore, walmart, some Lifetime movie my wife was watching, at the Midsouth fair, everywhere. I was even travelling and started to lose the station I was listening to and as another station started to come in... It was playing Valerie.

    I hate that song.

    Yes! Me too! I'll go 3 or 4 days in a row catching it in the AM and PM and then it'll switch to 1:11 for a day or two and then nothing for a while. Very strange. Like someone else said - I'm glad I'm not the only one.

    This has been happening for years, even before 2001. Its insane!!!

    I've actually tried to notice 9:10 and 9:12 but I rarely if ever glance at the clock and catch these 1 minute differing times.

    I'm not a clock watcher either. Most of the time I'm in different places and not looking at my wristwatch or computer. I'll see it on my clock in my truck, i'll catch it on any of the various bank clocks around town, my microwave oven, the VCR, the DVD, any where I happen upon a clock in the morning or evening.

    Does this happen to anyone else?

    funny, b/c it always seems to happen to me and I don't wear a watch and hardly ever look at the clock. glad to know i am not alone...

    But still, 23 keeps following me around. Specially now that I'm 23 yo.
    (Yes I saw the movie, no I don't think there's any kind of mystic explanation, just a huge ammount of coincidences when it comes to numbers)

    for me it's 8:17...but that's my birthday...so my theory is that i may see other numbers as much but always am aware when i notice at 8:17...

    Try it with another random number, write it down and see if you see it as much as you do 8:17 :)

    Also 8:17 looks very nice, a lot better than my 3:14 :D

    Strangely, my ex-girlfriend and her friends always said it happened to them with XX:26. Since then I see XX:26 all of the damn time now. I'm guessing this is all just some sub conscience thing, who knows.

    i will try to notice that! plus with 8:17 i have an opportunity to see it twice. normally i'm out cold by 3:14 in the morning. :)

    i see 9:11 all the time too...and my buddy does also.

    On many days, for over 12 months, I have recieved a pm in my inbox at exactly 9:11.

    I've always marvelled at it. First time it happened I just thought it was a coincidence and that I'd only noticed it because I'd be more aware of 9:11 but it kept happening. Of course I wasn't watching other "in" times so who knows, maybe they come in at specific times each day and there are other times as regularly represented also?

    Every time I get in my car to go to work or to go anywhere this radio station 93 ROCK in Southn Florida plays a Pearl Jam song while I'm driving. This has been happening for the last 3 weeks, many times i'm throwing my hands in the air as to how long will this streak go on.

    However it has amazingly, as for 9/II never caught that on my clock in my car. I have to be a work at 10am.

    happens to me all the time...every night im with somebody every god damn night and i look at the clock and its 9:11

    like tonight i went out and we got to some girls house and i was like what time is it? my friend dann is like 9:11 (yes dann with 2 n's...haha hes weird)

    I have sleeping difficulties, I usually see it in the morning as well. But it's not just on my alarm clock, it's everywhere :eek: :D
