Strangest Tribe

This time only occurs twice a day, 14 times per week, 728 times per year.
Why is it that I manage to see this time exactly every day at least once and twice a bunch of times.
This has been happening for years, even before 2001. Its insane!!!
I've actually tried to notice 9:10 and 9:12 but I rarely if ever glance at the clock and catch these 1 minute differing times.
I'm not a clock watcher either. Most of the time I'm in different places and not looking at my wristwatch or computer. I'll see it on my clock in my truck, i'll catch it on any of the various bank clocks around town, my microwave oven, the VCR, the DVD, any where I happen upon a clock in the morning or evening.
Does this happen to anyone else?

edit: not just the time either, prices, lock combinations, just random numbers... always 314.
Then I started thinking, it's just because I'm paying attention to it now. But it tried it with another random number (you know like 4:25 or something), nope, not the same, I did see 3:14, however.

That was happening to me for a long time but at 3:16...then it ebbed to every other hour at 16 mins past. Now it does not happen anymore.
No explanation.

When the events of 9/11/01 occured the first thing I did was look at the clock on the VCR and it was 9:11 CST. I was watching the news that morning and as I noticed the time and the date I almost passed out...no shit!!!
I called my wife who is familiar with this bizzarre thing that I had pointed out to her frequently. She had heard the news that morning but didn't realize the date was actually 9/11.
I wish I could explain this. It simply goes beyond coincidence.

I found a lock once one with three digits and I did that thing where you listen and pull and eventually you get it open, the code was 314. So freaky.

And when I do miss it, I will find it later on.
For instance..
I will check my phone, and see that I made a call at 12:34.
I'll be playing a song, and look at the cd player right at 12:34 (I listen to alot of Tool, so those songs are pretty long).
NEVER miss 12:34.

In 2003 I lost a good good friend, her name was Valerie.
For a good 6 months after her death everywhere I went I happened to hear that Steve Winwood song Valerie. If I actually listened to classic rock I wouldn't have thought so much about it....I'm an alternative music geek and am always on the new music radio stations.
But I still heard Valerie everywhere. My bosses car, the mall, the bookstore, walmart, some Lifetime movie my wife was watching, at the Midsouth fair, everywhere. I was even travelling and started to lose the station I was listening to and as another station started to come in... It was playing Valerie.
I hate that song.

Yes! Me too! I'll go 3 or 4 days in a row catching it in the AM and PM and then it'll switch to 1:11 for a day or two and then nothing for a while. Very strange. Like someone else said - I'm glad I'm not the only one.

funny, b/c it always seems to happen to me and I don't wear a watch and hardly ever look at the clock. glad to know i am not alone...

But still, 23 keeps following me around. Specially now that I'm 23 yo.
(Yes I saw the movie, no I don't think there's any kind of mystic explanation, just a huge ammount of coincidences when it comes to numbers)
