I'd love to but you forgot excuse 'e'.

e, My boyfriend would throw a mental hippie fit if I said I wanted to meet some of the people on here and I've got no money.

What a shame for me, I haven't been to a gig for a long time.

Fins, I'd go in a heart-beat if I was on the same continent.
    I appreaciate your stuff.

Wow, I am sorry your b/f is a narrow minded little guy.
    That is insane.
It's FinsburyParkCarrots doin a lil show for god sakes.
Why can't you just go and act like you didnt even know
any of the pit folk were showin up.
Then meet up and have some laughs.
Or would your dude freak out if you laughed and had fun?

Another thing, what the F' is your dudes deal?
Would he wanna go too and enjoy an evening out with his woman
and check out some music, perhaps go grab a bite to eat?

It's not a big deal but I've already explained to FPC why there's a problem.

Maybe in a couple of months we could sort something out. :)

I'm sorry MCKB I shouldn't have buggered into your business.

Well it's not a big deal. It's just a bit unfair to expect him to drive me to London, while I get drunk and watch a band that I like and know he wouldn't.

I might suggest we go another time and he can have a think about it.

Why would you have to get drunk ?
This is what it sounds like to me.
It's your music you like, not his, you'd be drunk having fun,
he's driving not drinking which prolly means he's not havin fun.

If you weren't drinkin I bet it would be different for him and perhaps he'd enjoy being with you and checkin out Fins jam.

and those itty bitty cars of yours are soooo small looking
I am affraid i'd have to rip out the front seat and sit in
the back seat to drive one of those things. haha.

    What a gentleman. :)
The only time I have ever been on the other side of the road was on Antigua. It was so weird. lol
In our little fantasy trip to see finsbury, you can surely drive us.
Of course I understand MCKB. (even though I took off and went to chicago like a bad girl without the husband. lol) I totally respect you.
Someday you will see Richard play. Maybe when his ass opens for PJ!

Here I am at a noisy little open mic thang, last night. (I never turn down a chance to play.) I'll make sure the guitar's mixed properly for the London gig, though:

Bump! I'm playing a half hour set on Wednesday, in Cambridge, if anyone wants a warmer-upper.

So we've a week to go. Are there any jammers around the London area who come onto the pit and might want to converge? :)

Too early to call! I've friends, family and supporters coming down, anyway. We'll start doing a roll call of jammers soon! In the meantime, I guess I have to go against my principles and go on a spamming - er, self-promoting spree. :D

Well I hope I'm going to be there but it's a bit of a trek so only if one of your entourage buys me a drink :D

'..... Ah! A perfect illustration of the poststructuralist paradox. Does the signifier "Merlot" correspond with the 'truth' of the bottle I polished off last night, or do we hold in our thoughts a different "signified" of bottle-of-Merlot-ness? Perhaps we're dreaming of the same bottle!" -FinsburyParkCarrots

    Bumpus maximus:

The picture here has been fooked aboot, but the sound is live: that's what I do with a delay pedal and a twelve-string, and with a proper vocal mic it sounds groovier.

At least ya know which one I'll be. :)
