I feel bad for the guy. Does he have substance abuse problems?

I'm not sure if I'm remembering this right, but wasn't his situation the reason behind that law which protects child actors from greedy parents?0

He was born in 1968. Different Strokes aired from 1978-1986.In 1989, Coleman sued his parents and former manager over misappropriation of his $8.3 million trust fund.[2] He won a $1,280,000 ruling on February 23, 1993.[3] Coleman later filed for bankruptcy in 1999; he attributed his financial problems to mismanagement of his trust.[4]

Sucks when nobody wants you and that's how you need to survive.
Different strokes came out on TV when I was a kid, and Arnold was just a few years older then me at the time. Yeah, he was just a kid, and he got screwed over pretty badly. I still remember the first episode when they first got adopted. Look at dana Plato (dead).,. Todd Bridges..huge substance abuse problems as well.
great show...

When you're on top everyone loves you...when you're not...nobody knows your name....everyone want's to ride the wave and will sell out their own mother to ride it, so people get trampled on, lost and forgotten. It's hard to deal with psychologically and why so many develop substance abuse problems to escape reality.

I can;t speak to the every movie star on drugs, but unfortunately Arnold's family stole from him. The people he trusted the most screwed him over badly.

could he have made better choices? yes.
could he have learned from others before him? yes.
did he let the 'good life' get the best of him? yes.
would you feel bad for britney spears or lindsay lohan if they lost everything? my guess is no. i also guess you'd feel that way b/c they were irresponsible.
for what it's worth, i think GC was irresponsible. he had a future set for him and he chose to gamble with it. for that, i don't sympothize.0 -

Also, the guy is a midget or something. That's gotta be hard enough as it is. And you thought it was tough having a small penis. Imagine if it was your whole body that was dwarfed. J/K. I'm sure you have a gigantic penis.0
