    OK the no news thing is totally going to my head.I had a dream last night that I met Mike McCready and I asked him about playing the south he just gave me a guilty look and avoided the question and changed the subject.DAMM YOU MCCREADY! But it was just a dream or nightmare.PLAY THE SOUTH 2007!!!!!!

    I couldn't imagine if Pearl Jam did another tour of the US and they left out the South.

    thought about you last weekend....your the bird man/woman.......many times have two species of woodpeckers on my pecan trees .... Course also have a couple feeders...so lots of cool birds...no idea their names..except cardinals, blue jays and robins.

    That would be bird man.........have only birded the coastal areas near Houston, so I am not that familiar with the woodpeckers that hang out in your area. My first guess would be Red-Bellied Woodpecker. The second guess would be either Downy Woodpecker or Red-Headed Woodpecker. If you see a different species in the winter, it is probably the Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker. Yes, they suck sap from trees. The first three species are mainly hunting insects on your trees, but they will supplement their diet with nuts when available.
