I have always been a dog person and I have two but when I was young we had a cat twice and they were really cool. Certian Cats are cool. I like the Calico type. I am not into the long hair fluffy type, they are for girls and gay men. lol
Like Deniro says in Meet the Parents, you have to earn a cats respect, not like a dog for the most part. Except for mine, the one does not like anybody at first and the other loves them all.
I think my daughter would like a cat. Maybe I will adopt one for her.

I love cats, but my husband is terribly allergic to the point that he breaks out in hives...lol. I'd love to try one of those supposedly hypoallergenic ones. I think my little girl would love it! I'd just be sick if we got attached and couldn't keep it, though!
edited to add: I've always wanted a dog but worry that I'd get tired of caring for it (and carrying it's poop around, lol). I feel like humans should be above that....right?0 -
I mostly a dog person but some cats are nice...I like cats with dog personalitiesThese cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.0

I have a solid black cat. Her name is Caitlin. hahaha.
I also have a black and white tuxedo cat named Noah, and a brown and black tortie cat named Madeline
and then I have a long haired cat that is peach and gray named Aubrey. (Poor Aubrey, she must wonder why she doesn't look like anyone else at all) She is one of those cat-dog type cats.0 -

More of a cat person but I like dogs too. If I had a family I would have both. I would love to have a lab or funny little dog like a pug (d2d's Igby is a sweetheart... and the other kids too
). I guess if I had kids though I would take them to the Humane Society... to get a pet not that I would leave them there
