i am a target

i checked and saw one this morning. now there are at least five or six. i would love it if the ten club was kidding about it being limited edition and "flooded the market" with the LP.

oh shit i forgot to post my vinyl on ebay ... thanks, I almost forgot...by nine he had deciphered the illusion, trading magic for a fact...
32 shows since 2001 and counting ..0 -
Some are going for as much as $200. Honestly, will this record be worth that when they release it in stores.
I'm probably going to open and listen to it...but if it's going to have any value, I might buy a store copy and keep the 10c copy unopened....thoughts?0 -

Maybe I missed something (easy to do with the dozens of ITW vinyl threads), but how do you know this? When Jesus said "Love your enemies" he probably didn't mean kill them...

There is a huge difference between the asking price and what they will actually sell for. The seller is merely asking a crazy price.0 -
so I missed out on the 10C sale, but I bought one from Aural Exploits(thank you patrick!!)
Will mine be the exact same as the 10C one? Sorry, I wasn't around much the past few days!0 -

They probably bought a bunch from that site that sold out yesterday.
Didn't someone say that site had about 500 of them?
I'm thinking maybe there's about 2,000. If that site got about 500, you'd think 10C would get the most so we'll say maybe they got about 500. So that's 1,000 right there. Now some record shops in the US will have them, and some in the UK and maybe some other countries will as well. Maybe 1,000 between them?
It's a rough number and I could be way off, but I think it's a realistic one.I shit and I stink. I'm real, join the club.
A friend, he called, I didn't mention a thing. The last thing he said was, "Be sound". Sound. I contemplated an awful thing, I hate to admit. I just thought those would be such appropriate last words. But I'm still here.0 -
Im getting really tired of not being able to buy shit because all the feens (which , hey good for you!) get them all at once, and then suddenly they are 200 bucks? I mean... for god sakes... its a record! Im starting to think ten c just sells a limited amount so everything becomes "rare"
freakin gay if you ask me ;p0 -

doubt it, you could order as many as you like from the aural website. the person probably ordered 10 copies.
i cant believe how much these are selling for lol. some people are seriously retarded.
edit - also cant believe how much shipping is for them. one guys shipping is 4 times what he paid for shipping lmao. unreal! This post is © by gfraser0 -
i dont know why someone would pay $200 for the album. Its still going to be released in stores. Sheesh0

I have wondered about this for awhile. It seems almost everything 10 club has released in the past few years has been limited edition. I mean they don't want people trying to make a profit off stuff yet they keep doing it. I can almost see why posters are limited because they are somewhat difficult to print, but when we have things like limited edition towels and stickers and golf shirts and records what is the point. It would seem like with those things if there is a known demand for them it would be easy to produce more. I am also wondering if they keep production low to keep the buzz up about the band and 10 club. If there were 10,000 copies of Into the Wild available pretty much 3/4 of the posts for the last few days wouldn't exist and there would probably be no ebay auctions.0
