    speaking of old school gigs though, i did see tom jones with my mom at the fillmore years ago....and it was pretty good! cracked me up seeing grandmas throwing their panties lol

    that it was! my mom has been a mega tom jones fan since the late 60s, so she was very amped to see him. and since she had surgery on her ankle a few months earlier, i was worried since the joint was GA. so i called ahead and asked for a reserved table on the floor next to the wall bench so she would have a place to sit. ended up that she was on her feet dancing the ENTIRE nite haha it was a really fun show, people of all generations just having a good time, and he rocked the old school showman sort of vibe. was way better than what i had expected for sure and she loved it so it was all good :)
