Question why are there so many one ticket options available on ebay, stub hub etc

Most be a new way the scalpers deal by getting just one ticket to sell instead of a pair. Any ideas?

    Its much easier to pull a good single ticket than a good pair of tickets...if brokers cannot get good pairs, they drop down and try to pull good singles..
