    I say, do what makes you happy. :) If you don't feel comfortable in shorts, then don't wear them. But if you like them, then go for it!

    Yep, at concerts when my gf at the time didn't want to carry her purse in. Sightseeing on vacation for the same reason.

    I love wearing shorts and I can't wait for my new job so I can wear shorts to work every day starting in July. I'm glad my new office has a laid back atmosphere for business casual. :)

    Despite my do whatever makes you happy post, please note that only European guys can get away with cropped pants. Maybe South American guys too. But guys from the states just can't pull this off. :p

    I wear shorts all the time because they are comfortable, i dont care if someone else thinks they are 'goofy' really. Especially if its warm, im not walking around in a big pair of jeans. I couldnt sleep last night so at 2am walked round to my friend's who was having a party and i was wearing shorts. Obviously in the winter i wouldnt do this but in june i always wear them.
    People say im paranoid. Well, they dont say it, but i know that's what they are thinking.

    I wouldn't wear shorts to a club, but a sports bar or pub is definitely OK. Unless you're one of those dudes that wears shorts all winter long and don't own a pair of pants.
