Can't wait for the Foos, and the Supertop should be alright. I suggest you all visit the "Australian Tour Rumours (no bullshit)" Thread and encourage its progress. And get an Australasian Tour number!

Have you been to a gig at the Supertop before? It's terrible! But I'm still going of course
Today's All Black Track on the ROCK is Nothingman picked by Steve Divine. What a top bloke!!! After it was played Nick Trott gave him shit about it. He said "How can you come out to a game of rugby after listening to that?". Just cause he's a real bogan and thinks that everything revolves around GnR, Metallica, Def Leppard, ACDC etc. It's obviously Steve's favourite song. Cut the man some slack. Also all the kiwi's here need to vote for all Pearl Jam albums for the rock 100.
at least you get the rock, down in queenstown we get really shit music stations like the edge and zm. But saying that the local station Q92 does play some great songs, a month ago they played mother love bone and the dj talked about how they became pearl jam
actually the rock is starting to get a bit crap sometimes. maybe cause it's just cause i complain cause i never hear enough pearl jam. it would be awsome if the rock played some MLB.
Yeah it was pretty sweet to hear mlb on it they have played it a couple of times, also they once played dont gimme no lip off the lost dog album, but apart from the odd pearl jam song they play 99.9% crap
How do you guys feel about the "Fat Freddy's drop"? I think they have make the most amazing New Zealand music since Crowded House (even better than one of my favourite bands in Shihad). Would love to see the drop open for PJ.

Is there any word on whos opening for the Foo's incidently? Id love it to be Opshop, if Jason Kerrison ever decided to cover PJ I reckon he'd be awesome. Incidently do we think any independant record stores over here will get the Easy St bootleg or are we gonna go without?? And im also a new Ten Club member, I reckon thats guaranteeing me awesome seats when they come!
Its been 8 years, but I still believe...PJ in NZ 06!

I'm pretty hopeful that it will be available to (at least) ten club members off their website too.
I think there's only around 70 members throughout NZ so it should be pretty good. Considering some of those might not be able to go to concerts and some (most?) of those will only go to 1 concert so there's probably less than 100 10C seats at each concert.
Peggy Gordons is AWESOME if thats the place you mean. Oh, missing link, I know one of the people that works there and when I went down to new plymouth for R.E.M. I went there and its an awesome store.
He sends me alot of samplers and fanzines with my orders. I have a spare cd and a couple of fanzines left over. Have you checked it out at all, http://www.powertoolrecords.co.nz
