he shouldn't have walked away in the first place. last year was his best year since like 1998. now that he did retire and is trying to come back, it's going to be ugly. not matter who he plays for next year, he's not going to be 13-3 and playing in any conference championships.
the only thing that pisses me off about Favre is that once he retires for a second time, we'll have to sit through another 5 months of Favre tribute programming on NFL network. FUCK!!2000: Camden 1, 2003: Philly, State College, Camden 1, MSG 2, Hershey, 2004: Reading, 2005: Philly, 2006: Camden 1, 2, East Rutherford 1, 2007: Lollapalooza, 2008: Camden 1, Washington D.C., MSG 1, 2, 2009: Philly 1, 2, 3, 4, 2010: Bristol, MSG 2, 2011: PJ20 1, 2, 2012: Made In America, 2013: Brooklyn 2, Philly 2, 2014: Denver, 2015: Global Citizen Festival, 2016: Philly 2, Fenway 1, 2018: Fenway 1, 2, 2021: Sea. Hear. Now. 2022: Camden, 2024: Philly 2, 2025: Pittsburgh 1

and I think he should do whatever he likes. I mean there's lots of 'normal' people who retire from work, then eventually go back, so why shouldn't he? Its not like he is washed up or anything. He was 2nd in MVP voting last year. I say come back. Love watching that guy compete0 -
He obviously loves attention. He's no better than T.O. Actually, he's worse. Atleast T.O. is funny.
He's probably reached the point where he realizes he's nothing if he doesn't football. I think it shows he's a self obsessed douche.
There's nothing I respect more than someone who was good at one thing.... Who can walk away from it at their peak, only to excel at something else. Farve's not that type of guy because he'd have to start over.
He's overrated and he's a self-obsessed douche. I'm sick of seeing him on espn.com.0 -

Oh and by the way, he's a self-obsessed douche.0

he should of just stated at the end of the last yr that he was thinking about retiring but to announce it and then go thru this it just makes him look bad specially if he ends up on another team ....jesus greets me looks just like me ....0

I've always really liked Favre, but he deserves to be called out on this crap... He retires in a tearful ceremony, then word gets out about him wanting to come back, and now he is saying that the ball is in the Packer's court... No, Brett, it's not... You expect a team to put their future plans on hold, and keep $12 million in cap space because you might come back???
Make up your freakin' mind douche... if you want to come back, say you do, then that forces the team to make a decision to either trade you, release you or keep you on the team. If you aren't coming back, then shut the hell up and either relax at home or take a job on TV somewhere. My whole life

never thought I'd feel myself losing respect for one of my all time fav QB's
and the fucked up thing is I saw this coming during his whole fake tear fake retirement press conference....really dissapointed. :(Aah, fuck it, I’m just gonna go home, turn on the fuckin’ TV...
Watch the nightly news and drink a beer...
Like I could even change the world, yeah right...

Athletes never want to give it up: i.e. Jerry Rice trying out for the Broncos after playing for Seattle and the Raiders, Unitas with the Chargers, Namath with the Rams, Montana with the Chiefs, etc., etc.
Most great athletes never want to give it up until its too late. It's all they know.- Busted down the pretext

In my opinion that is what makes Barry Sanders so great. He left when he was on the top of his game and never looked back. He left on his terms and has just faded into the sunset. That's class.....This is your notice that there is a problem with your signature. Please remove it.
