FYI to those going. Just got this info below in an email from NJPAC. Includes parking info for those driving.
Have fun all!

This Thursday evening, after the performance by Eddie Vedder, extend your night of summertime music as Chase Sounds of the City brings free jazz, reggae and world music to Theater Square
Join us after the Eddie Vedder performance for an extended version of Chase Sounds of the City, our free outdoor music series that heats up NJPAC's Theater Square on Thursday evenings all summer long. Now through August 28, three different groups will entertain concert-goers from around the region, all of whom made NJPAC "the place to be on Thursdays" when this summer series was introduced nine years ago.

This Thursday, August 7, 5:45pm-11:30pm
Chase Sounds of the City
This week's artists include DJ Frank D; the Gretchen Parlato Band, led by rising jazz vocalist Gretchen Parlato, whose subtle, emotive performances have been featured on Terence Blanchard's Flow CD and as part of A Celebration of Jobim at the Hollywood Bowl; the Winard Harper Sextet, led Newark-based drummer Winard Harper, widely regarded as one of the most accomplished drummers in contemporary jazz; and reggae recording artist Taj Weekes, a powerful singer-songwriter who sings tales of poverty, oppression, hopelessness and rejection - all balanced with an empowering message of Rastafari faith and spirituality.

On each Chase Sounds of the City evening, NJPAC offers a special parking rate of $6 at parking lots B and C, and in the Military Park garage. In the event of inclement weather on any date, a cancellation notice will be posted on the NJPAC web site. Updates are also available on the Chase Sounds of the City Hotline at (973) 353-8046.

Perhaps EV will come outside after his set and join Taj Weekes for a reggae version of WMA on the streets of Newark?
