I think it may have been MSG II where at the end of Wishlist, he pretty much sang about how he wishes Obama would be president, or something.

That was a better piss break than Even Flow. :p

If he really cared he would have left the advisor and gone by himself. How many aaa's did he mutter while he was trying to explain this. Contrary to wht the kool aid drinkers think he is not a very eloquent speaker when the Tele-prompter is removed.

eh, as far as speaking goes, I think Obama isn't so terrible. He could do better, and he is overrated, but if I were to want to complain about Obama, his speaking abilities would definitely not be one of my complaints.

I have no idea why who Vedder votes for or what he thinks of politicians, matters to anyone.

He is quite vocal about who he supports at live shows.
Many many wonderful shows, since day one.

............canceling a visit to the injured troops. You know since Eddie is such a big advocate for injured troops against the war. His excuse was humorous.

This is one that Obama wouldn't win, unless he had never made his intentions to visit public. If he went, Republicans would accuse him of trying to act like a president. They would accuse him of using soldiers to achieve poltical ends. How shameful!

So, he didn't go because he was trying to outmaneuver the Republicans...not let them use the visit against him. But, they did anyway by telling total lies about why he didn't go and using it against him.

On this one, and on many comming occasions, no matter what choice Obama makes in a given situation, it will be swiftly spun by glittering boats into an unflattering web of lies.

Right now, McCain is having a hissy fit over Obama's popularity. Oh, dear. The media don't pay me no mind! I'm so jealous. So, I'll lie and compare Obama to Britney. And Paris. Oh, ooops! I did it again...The Hiltons gave me money, and I just called their daughter a brainless celebrity bimbo. I'll bet they're glad they back me now! Parents love it when you insult their kids!

Actually, McCain is so jealous of Obama, he has to talk trash. How else is he going to get attention? He sounds catty enough to start meowing! Now *that* is humorous.

McCain is one of the most hilarious candidates to watch on TV, that when you snap back to reality, you really get freaked out.

"How will you fix the economy?"
    "I have no idea."

true...it was leaked that the mccain camp had already planned a commercial to run if obama DID visit the troops, as well as the one they ran busting his balls for not going. the whole thing is absolute bullshit.

As this story continues we find others that drink our wine, take our women, take our time. What right does anyone have to say freedom is not theirs to take.
No one can take something that isn't given to them. But we as a nation keep giving ourselves away.. What happened to social graces? What happened.?People turned a deaf ear and are too busy too see the truth. As many words of wisdom are set forth the day is coming and the train is flying at the speed of light. Someone lit a candle and left it burning in My window. Open your eyes and see with your soul its time... Change? Its only a shift in polarity?? So as we rock on and rock together we will bring back the past only to fly into the future..
Go ahead and rock my world the rest will be along in a minute.. Catch you on the rebound dear ones.. Love is alive.. and Love Conquers all with little or no effort it just is.........Take it too the burning bush??? B.O.H.I.C.A....

Yeah, it was "I wish I was vice president, with Obama he's our man."
