Maybe you just dont understand. By throwing ourselves into the shit we can better ourselves. Its like the cold, there are so many and once we get one and get over it that virus will no longer make us get sick.Number 18 wrote:There's always something for this type of person.

You don't repel the doom and gloom argument very well.
But who cares, right? It's all a conspiracy. :rolleyes:0 -

I've had a lot of colds...so maybe that isn't the best method to prove your point.0 -
Yeah, sure. THAT virus won't make me sick. But a different one will.
So who's to say that after we "throw ourselves into shit," that we will emerge better?0 -

I've never thrown myself into shit, but I have a feeling that if I were to emerge from it...I would smell like shit.0 -

BUT, you'd be a better person that smelled like shit.

Sometimes there are malfunctions on a ballot. It isn't some grand conspiracy.
he is not saying it is a grand conspiracy...also if you read this thread... how can you still not understand the concept...lol are you fucking kidding me...the problem was not the malfunction of the balloting you ignorant...the problem is people at the precinct telling them that ron paul isnt a choice.
lol
ledvedderman... you never seem to amaze me!0 -
Sludge Factory wrote:I don't think the machine malfunction was the point. I think it was the misinformation from the multiple poll-workers that was the point. It doesn't matter if it cost him the election or not, the point is, those poll-workers were in the wrong and it makes you wonder how much of this goes on unnoticed.
very good post... i noticed everyone at my church precinct was over the age of 80...and everytime i have voted i watch the 104 year old guy look directly at my name and than look at my license...and than look at my name on the sheet...than look at my license...than turn the page.... than flip back....than point to my name...than look on my license than he looks up and asks me if i am my brother...who is right above my name... and than i go to point to the box where my name is and than he says.. OH! followed by a 104 year old laugh.
this story is not a fabrication...i feel dumb voting when i know people like this count as 1 vote just like i do.0 -

I did read the original post. I can't speak for the polling workers. One thing people should know about poll workers is that they are political. Who knows? I don't think a Republican or Democrat would be very fond of someone voting for Ron Paul. The Republican because they don't approve of his policies, and the Democrats because a voter who votes for Paul would usually have leaned to the Dem side.
Excuse me for having a little fun with yet ANOTHER thread about voting problems ONLY when it happens to Ron Paul supporters.0 -

What about when it happens over and over in every State, but in a different way??????
One State disenfranchises Voters, one State commits Vote Fraud, one State can't even Recount the Vote right........
It's only a Conspiracy when it's blatant and constant, and there is plenty of documentation of this fraud committed against the American Public

Your attempt at having a little 'fun' is only going to rile them up more. If you don't like putting up with the Ron Paul supporters, why do you insist on provoking them?0 -
the same reason they go after any mainstream candidate for being a puppet. it is just part of politics...giving the other side shit. it goes both ways.0

Forgive me for wanting to feel optomistic and have faith in our leader. Living in the "doom and gloom" world that you do must really suck.
Proud of what?
That he said Change 500 times?
Obama is just more of the same with a new face.

No, he is not. The lunatic fringe is trying to push that.
Who said I didn'r have faith in a God. Maybe it is not the same as yours...but it brings me peace.0 -

Having faith in a tangible, currently existing being is totally off track, but having faith in an unprovable deity is right? I bet a lot of us have fucked up lives then. Please, show us the way. When Jesus said "Love your enemies" he probably didn't mean kill them...

The definition of Faith is a firm belief in something for which there is no proof or complete trust in something unseen.
That does not describe a man, does it?PEARL JAM~Lubbock, TX. 10~18~00

Yes. One vote in one state cost Ron Paul the election.
And to preempt your next comment:
"Mhhm. The only way Ron Paul could lose is because the big American conspiracy. Not because nobody is voting for him." :rolleyes:0 -
How about a DISPLAY BALLOT WITH HIS NAME CROSSED OUT !?!
Does that make you guys think any different?
Voters walk in to the poll, and see a sample balot with RON PAUL SCRATCHED OUT IN RED INK !?!
huge thread on this issue over at ronpaulforums.
One vote my hairy white ass.If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?0 -

No, it doesn't describe a man. But it doesn't NOT describe a man either. Jesus was once a man, yet you had to have faith to follow Him.0
