    anyone receive anything on the european / flying V sets ? :confused:


    i havent heard diddley-squat- even after writing to them ! ( Maybe they deleted my mail, blocked it, or perhaps Jenne doesnt work there anymore ) :confused:

    Any of you going for these CCFA prints today? I like the Fenveyes one, not sure if I'm ponying up for any others.

    i've stayed clear of these posters, even back at the beginning of the tour ( like the beautiful camden shows ) . Alltho some of these designs were / are very cool , there seemed to have been some type of conspiracy surrounding these posters , ie : who was getting the $ for them, and who was coordinating the sales and finances . :confused:

    IMO --None of them strike me as " have to have " , and definitely not to deal with people that stab other people in the back or snatch the rug out from under someone else . I can see the negative connotations associated with both sides of the "story" , which is why i have stayed away from them. Also- i already have way too many posters for fucks sake .

    yeah, that is the fenveyes, the wave. i'm a fan of wave/surfing posters, like this one, the emek, LA Klausen, CCFA Santa Barbara. Too bad I wasn't collecting when the Endless Summer looking San Diego was made (96?). Now it is going for 500-600.

    bathgate, if it is a reason to keep you from buying more posters, than i'm glad you've found a way to control the fix :). i won't let the conspiracy stuff throw me off, as i'm pretty sure the artists themselves weren't involved in anything shady, and i don't really care where the money goes beyond that, aside from supporting terrorism or something, which hopefully i'm safe on, or this is a much bigger conspiracy than anyone has let on :p

    that's the only one i'm going for too. i agree with bath that some shady business seems to be going on here with the info that came out over the past month.

    can anyone educate me a tad in expressobeans.
    When you are looking for a certain poster is there a way of seeing
    if anybody has one to trade/buy.

    Yes, you can find ppl willing to trade/sell their poster easily. Click on the title of the poster you're interested in and it will take you to the general info page for that poster. Click the tab called For Sale or Trade.

    following up the last post, once you find those who are willing to trade, you can click on their name, and click their "wanted" button. hopefully they want something you have.

    also, if you have your posters already in EB, you can go to my page, then matchmaker, and the system will try to put together people who have matching "wants" and "willing to trade"s.

    That San Diego that you speak of was a 98 and I actually just gave my only show bought copy to my friend for his 30th birthday. I can look at it two ways either I gave him a $500 poster or I gave him a $12 poster (cost of poster at concert) I'll choose the latter, it helps me sleep at night. Do I regret it......(sigh)..sometimes.

    hopefully you're a girl and he gave you a good blasting that night

    if not and if you don't get a $500 present for your bday I'd just steal something from him.. like his stereo or something ;)
