    A couple thoughts:

    1) It was the national anthem, not the pledge of allegiance there fool.

    2) With that singing, I would have probably put my hands over my ears instead of my heart.

    3) I can't remember the last time I put my hand over my heart when standing for the national anthem. You act like he was sitting down talking to someone what it was being sung.

    We get it Spin, you don't like the guy and wouldn't vote for him if he was the only candidate running. At least act like an adult and bring up current events or relevant things.

    Haha you are a funny one. You can't be serious :) Have you checked out his posting history? I consider myself fairly open minded and i'll pretty much listen to whatever anyone has to say, even if i don't agree with them. I've tried so hard to see things from his point of view, and no matter how hard i try, I can't seem to get my head that far up his ass.

    I've come to the conclussion that you have a massive man crush on Senator Obama.     Call me wrong, but I've always thought the proper way to salute was to stand at attention for the national anthem, and put your hand over your heart (as if you are pledging something, afterall) for the Pledge.

    yeah i've seen it done both ways. some of the older crowd will put their hands of their heart, i think most people just stand at attention though.
    Everything not forbidden is compulsory and eveything not compulsory is forbidden. You are free... free to do what the government says you can do.

    It's like talking points on here sometimes.

    My 4th grade teacher was a pacifist, She didnt put her hand over her heart either.

    It's laughable what people will dig up to make a big deal.

    but this isnt some kindergarten teacher, this is someone that wants to be president. Obama also refuses to wear the USA flag pin. Why want to run a country you dont even like?
