Well it would be very difficult to prove if it was indeed an Al Qaida attack. I highly doubt the fires where started by Al Qaida operatives.

  • I was wondering when someone was going to slap a terrorist sticker on this and run it up the flag pole.

It's far more likely California has had an unusually dry season (which it has) and fires happen quite regularly in the region.

Maybe they'll come up with some suspicious bearded turban wearing guy holding a pack of matches on a convenience store security camera.

well, if this is the case, the "war on terror" is a failure...

I thought "we were fighting them there so they wouldn't come here"...

surely it couldn't have anything to do with the fact that it's been a very dry year combined with the Santa Ana winds and something mundane and ordinary such as Joe or Sally Schmo tossing a lit ciggie-butt out a car window....nah, that could never happen....it MUST be the work of terrorist!

Right then, have yourself a good one then. Keep a lookout for any suspicious turban wearing people in your neighborhood.

hello, lightning causes these fires all of the time.

i knew someone was going to blame al quaeda for this natural disaster. kind of like how they caused hurricane katrina right?

i think this is the work of one dr evil using his weather changing device called a "laser".
