Agreed. He is one of the few political bright spots in this state.

Probably because he stayed above politics, and went after scumbags on both sides.

Perfect guy for the job. I would imagine he's dealt with incredible political pressures. Sen. Pete Fitzgerald retired from the U.S. Senate after tabbing the other Fitzgerald to the U.S. Atty post. Tons of pressure on the Senator and politically-connected donors weren't going to support his run for a second term. Northern District of Illinois is full of corruption.

    Here's something to think about.
This guy seems guilty, just like Eliot Spitzer.
    But just like Eliot Spitzer,
it seems like there is ANOTHER reason he was really brought down.
In other words, CORRUPTION IS OKAY. IT IS EXPECTED AND CONDONED at the top of the power structure.

BUT IT IS ALSO USED TO BRING YOU DOWN IF YOU STEP OUT OF LINE, OR ARE NEEDED AS A DISTRACTION\PATSY.

Bank of America has since changed their stance and have extended a line of credit to the window shop. Take your paranoia elsewhere.

Barack and Rod must be sooo close since it's looking like Rahm was the one that tipped off the investigators.

They were not close at all.
