they are all muslims no? they all read the koran no? so your understanding is that these ethnic rivalries go pretty far back. hmm ok well arent you the wise one.
why cant the leaders sit down and discuss their differences and attempt to live in peace. they are human right?
wow you bring as much to the table as a 4th grader. your right, debateing with you is a waste of time.0 -
            here's something:
Calls to include Iran, Syria in talks
Speaking on Sunday talk shows, two top Democrats called for an international conference composed of representatives from the countries in the region with a stake in the outcome -- including Iran, Syria and Turkey -- to hash out details of a solution.
The concept was endorsed Monday by the prime ministers of two other nations -- Britain and Australia -- both of which have troops in Iraq as part of the U.S.-led coalition, according to The Associated Press. (Full story)

my suggestion is have religious leaders call for peace and try to have the 3 groups sit down and try and unite.
My first sentence speaks for itself.
You'll be surprised to know that as for your suggestion...you could be right.0 -

Quality!
You could be onto something here. I suggest spiking the Iraqi water system - after we help to create one - with L.SD. That will give them something to think about! Timothy Leary had the right idea.
Fuck it! May as well spike the troops aswell. No point in them missing out on all the fun.0 -

actually no it doesnt. america, and britian, need and depend on oil. neither country, however, will profit from it. so not sure what you mean. which is why I asked. and the fact that you wont answer shows you just like to throw out words without backing it up. well done.0 -

That can't work. They are 3 VERY different people and have NEVER worked together before. Unity doesn't seem to be an option, and definitely not from the religious leaders!
plus one group spent over a decade being tortured and murdered by the other...things like torture chambers and death squads tend to create a deep rooted hatred.standin above the crowd

you're right, the our countries don't profit...in that the people as a whole do not benefit from this...but certain individuals on the other hand...i thought it was funny when rummy said he benefited greatly from this administration, how much did he get for that bird flu vaccine, again?

I've already answered. I said I didn't know what the solution should be.
Either the troops stay and contribute to and exacerbate the carnage, or they leave and lay the ground open for a blood bath.
I can't conceive of an alternative. That's my answer. Sorry you're not satisfied with that. (Actually, I'm not sorry at all. I couldn't give a fuck.)0 -
