...if that is your real name. (It's not, actually.) ;)

Looks like McCain's campaign did as good a job checking out this guy's background as they did checking out Palin...lol. :D

  • this guy was certainly not an undecided voter as they played him to be. he was quoted as saying that social security is ridiculous, we should seal our borders and that invading iraq was a good idea, even if there were no WMDs. sounds like a mccain guy to me.

Other than the Iraq thing I agree with him, and I'm not a McCain guy. Besides McCain was the one who authored amnesty for illegal aliens so I don't know how someone wanting the borders sealed makes them a McCain guy.

So what he asked a legit question to Obama and the news jumped all over it. If this was a liberal and asked McCain a question to go against his proposals Keith Olberman would be all over it. My point is who cares about this plumber?

Why are people trying to smear this guy? Did he do anything wrong? Can someone answer this? Like I said all he did was ask a question. Obama is to the one that said spreadi the wealth.

they paint him as undecided, when he's clearly pro-Mccain.

So what he asked Obama about his policies. That is all he did. He did not call Obama a terrorist or spit on him or anything else. He asked him about his tax plan.

    wtf are you talking about?

mccain just brought him up as a tool to somehow show that undecided voters are tending toward he and palin.

But Biden and news servies are smearing him. Why? Because he supports McCain?

He lied to people. He isn't a registered plumber and he owes taxes that he hasn't paid. He doesn't have the means to buy a plumbing company either.

So he asked Obama a Hypothetical question then. Does it matter? Politicians lie all the time. He owes 11 hundred in taxes big deal. That gives the press to smear him?

How are they smearing him? Some news organizations have reported on some factual information that happens to be embarrassing for "Joe" and for the McCain campaign. Revealing embarrassing (true) information isn't a smear, and no one would give a damn about "Joe" the "Plumber" if McCain hadn't decided to make him the centerpiece of the debate Wednesday night.

By the way, if he is an unlicensed contractor, he's breaking the law in most states. In CA, it's a misdemeanor.

People don't liked to be decieved and find out the truth on their own. If he had said, "Mr. Obama, hypothetical question here, if i was a plumber and i could affort to buy a business that made 250,000 dollars a year, etc. and by the way I dont pay all my taxes" people wouldn't have called him out. Just my opinion.

I am with you, he probably doesn't deserve the treatment, but I dont think people are saying these things because he is a McCain supporter. I do place a lot of blame on McCain for referencing him so often at the debate. A lot of people ask questions to candidates but it was the McCain camp that pulled this one out and drew attention to it.

Why do they care? The only thing he did was ask Barry a question. I guess if you support McCain you cannot ask him a question.
