These people interviewed are clearly idiots who have no idea of what and why they are voting for who they are voting for.. clearly ignorant individuals.. but there are ignorant individuals on both sides..~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This is why I hate voter registration drives, and "get out the vote" drives. Fucking morons have no idea what they're doing in the voter booth, but just vote how they've been programmed. It is a strong argument for some sort of required test to get your voter registration."I'll use the magic word - let's just shut the fuck up, please." EV, 04/13/080

Seriously. I've long supported a test for voter registration. I understand how poll tests were used in the past, and every time I bring up the idea of a test, the idea that it would be racially or economically biased. But I'm thinking if you don't know the candidates names for the major party, or which VP candidate is running with which candidate, you shouldn't be in a voting booth.
Information is too easy to come by these days. There's books, there's the internet, there's newspapers just about everywhere. If you can't afford the computer there are libraries. If you can't read, you can watch television or listen to the radio. If you can't afford a television or radio, ask someone.
There are too many ways to get informed and too many assholes with buttons and stickers and signs who couldn't possibly be more eager to tell you about the election until their face goes numb for you not to which candidate has which running mate.0 -

There are stupid people voting for every candidate, but these people are merely voting for him because of the color of his skin, nothing more. I'm glad I don't identify with this much stupidity and blind ignorance.0 -

Exactly what do you expect others to respond to? Everyone should be all up in arms that a FEW people the Howard Stern show selected to put on air showed their ignorance? I really wonder how many were asked and had the response of these four people.. I am guessing there were more people who had a clue.. but that would not make good radio for Howard Stern.
I think we all know that people are indeed going to vote that really have no clue.. this really should not be suprising to you.. or should you be expecting mass responses to this.. it is BS and I think we ALL can acknowledge that.
I do find your comment regarding that these people are only going to vote for Obama based on the color of his skin to be a quite funny.. I would put a pretty good bet that more people are voting for McCain because he is white than people voting for Obama on the sole fact that he is black.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Well I'm not surprised that blacks are voting for Obama cause he is black, just how I would not be surprised that people are voting for McCain because he is not black.

I don't believe that last statement. Wasn't there some poll done that said black people vote for Obama over 90% and white people vote for McCain in the 50-60% range?0 -

I am not talking in metropolitan areas.. I am talking COUNTRY WIDE..
You cannot tell me someone in rural Nebraska is not voting for McCain because he is W-H-I-T-E. The thought probably never crossed the Nebraskan's mind to vote for the black man.
It would be so very interesting if the republican candidate was the black man.. now that would be something, would it not?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It goes both ways, but more black people are voting for him because he is black than whites are voting for McCain because he is white.0 -

How do you know this? I'm just curious. How do you know there aren't more people either a) not voting for Obama because he is black or b) voting for McCain because Obama is black than there are people voting for Obama simply because he is black. It goes both ways. If anything, since blacks are a minority, one could argue there are more whites who will not vote for Obama or will vote for McCain because Obama's black than there are people who will vote for Obama simply because he's black.West Palm 2000 I & II/West Palm '03/Tampa '03/Kissimmee '04/Vic Theater '07/West Palm '08/Tampa '08/NYC MSG I & II '08/Philly Spectrum III & IV '09/Cleveland '10/Bristow '10/PJ20 I & II 2011/Pensacola '12/Pittsburgh '13/Denver '140 -
