This really blows my mind. How Barack can sit in a church. Where a Rev. Talks down America and white people, and its ok ? If Mcain was too sit at a racist church. All the black people woud be saying hes a racist. For Barack too sit and listen to this, he must believe some of it. This alone. Should be reason not too vote for him. Wake up people. Baracks a fake.

YAWN...this is such a non-issue, I mean come on it's really lame. Is there even any evidence to suggest that he was actually there while Wright was spouting off? If so please show it to me, don't just claim it. If this is such an issue why does McCain get away with his Pastor Hagee connection? You know, Pastor Hagee, the guy who ENDORSED John McCain with McCain's acceptance, the guy who said we should preemptively attack Iran, the guy who said Katrina fucked up New Orleans because there was going to be a gay parade there, the guy who doesn't believe in global warming, the guy who puts down just about every religion except his own bat shit religion.

How about Sarah Palin and her witchdoctor preacher Thomas Muthee, the guy who she claims helped her get elected Governor, the guy who claimed a woman who was a witch was causing car accidents in Africa and waged a witch hunt against her, the guy who's touching her and praying for her to be protected from "witchcraft" in a video.

This is a bullshit issue anyway, get over it and start talking about real issues that affect us. You know, like our fucked up economy, these fucked up wars, and our lack of health care, amongst other things. I'm so sick of this stupid fucking argument about Wright.

And remember Jerry Falwell? McCain denounced him a few years ago, calling him an "agent of intolerance". This is an apt description, and I was so impressed that a member of the GOP would say that. It was part of the reason I respected McCain.

But, as he began preparing for this election, he changed his mind and decided that Jerry Falwell is an ok guy, simply because he knew he couldn't get elected without that cesspool of intolerance that is the Christian Right. He basically said this much on Meet the Press, and he even spoke at a commencement ceremony for Liberty University.

So if you want to talk about Rev. Wright, and you want to examine the religious intolerance that you see in his words, we have to talk about the corrupt and hateful religious leaders that McCain has chosen to align himself with.

Why do white people get so upset when a black man provides them with an accurate history lesson? Hell, not just history. If anything, the Barack campaign has shown racism to still be alive and well.

Yes Rev Wright's comments where wrong but what about McCain's association with the Rev. John Hagee. Hagee has made ant-Catholic remarks, anti-Islamic remarks and anti-semetic remarks. McCain stated that he was proud to have Hagee's support after the Rev endorsed him even though Hagee had a history of making infamitory remarks about Catholics, Muslims and Jews. It was not until the media made this public that McCain that McCain withdrew any praise for Hagee, pretty much the same thing Obama did. So if you or any other voter is offended by Obama's association with Wright then I would hope that you would be equally offended by McCain's association with Hagee.

I think supporting the confederate flag atop the South Carolina capital and voting against MLK day speaks for itself.

as for MLK day, he voted against the creation of the holiday to honor King, and later defended Arizona Republican Governor Mecham's rescinding of the state holiday in honor of King created by his Democratic predecessor.

True, but that was also the McCain who came before the cameras later on, after he had lost in the primary season, and stated that in regards to the Confederate flag issue, he realized he had compromised his principles as a way to score votes, and publicly said so.
