    Not really. But I'm not convinced either way. I'll probably support it even if 90% comes from a third of the production. That will still cause reduction and hence a good thing.

    That's not saying that I'm for taxing anything for whatever, but I dont think taxes as a tool for better environment is such a bad idea. Depends on how they do it. Apply to all taxes in general really.

    The reason they are so bad off is us. Maybe if we stopped raping their natural resources we wouldnt ahve this problem.

    It is the aggregate affect of US Foreign Policy that has fucked most of these countries ... most notably our "Free Trade" organizations have waged wanton destruction on the internal economies of more countries than one could name in a post ...

    ... it is laughable that people would think that the solution to this type of problem is to give up more of their own wealth to the same government that is fucking those people.
