Umm...I was basing that on another comment and essentially asking a question. I wasn't claiming to know anything. This poster said the stripper was more than a stripper and bit off more than she could chew so that tells me they were soliciting.

Neither the prosecutor or defense have EVER indicated there was any solicitation...end of story, end of discussion.

She had the sperm of many men up in her. None of them were Dukies.

She's preggers, none of the Dukies are a match.

My hunch...shorty got knocked up, and because she's a straight up hoochie momma with no steez, she tried to peg it on the rich white folk in hopes of a quick out of court settlement.

Most strippers are not renown for their brains.

Sure--if all you go by is the public statements of the attorneys involved. I honestly don't know why this hasn't come to light before, because there is a HUGE buzz about the accuser's moonlighting jobs around both campuses (Duke and NC Central, where the accuser is/was a student).

I agree that if this is in fact true, then solicitation could be tacked on. But the rape and assault charges? Well, notsomuch.

I wonder how he would have handled the case if there hadn't been a pending election. Doing his job should have taken precedent over winning voters who made snap judgements about the case. If I lived in Durham, I would have voted against him just for how poorly he handled the case leading up to the election. Apparently the majority of voters saw him as some kind of hero.

That ho has made it 10 times worse for any woman who is truly a victim of rape. she should be tarred and feathered.
  • this whole case was a huge joke. these poor kids will have this stigma attached to them forever, all because some bitch probably blew them and didn;t get paid for it.
those undecided, needn't have faith to be free
  • they did not drop all the charges, just the rape charge. kidnapping and one other (sexual assault?) have not been dropped.

The opinion of just about every legal analyst on national media and locally is that the only reason those charges remain is to save some face for the Durham Country D.A.'s office.

The NC State Bar has brought charges against Nifong today for his comments to the media when the case broke. While it's not entirely an inquiry into his conduct and (mis)handling of the case, it's the first step. He's done for.

And as has been said, meanwhile, every woman in Durham County and the surrounding areas just found reporting and proving a rape to be that much more difficult.

Unfortunately, that's a glimpse into the prevailing mentality within the Durham establishment (read: the good ol' boy local network) with regards to Duke University and all its "privileged rich Yankee students".

Yes, yes fair enough, I'm not trying to condone the woman's or the DA's actions, just pointing it out.

AWESOME news...I hope that girl rots in hell, the fact that the "kidnapping" and sexual assault charges remain is a miscarriage of justice. Nifong needs to wake up and gain a conscience.

didn't the girls know about DNA?
