threw you the obvious and you flew
with it on your back, a name in your recollection,
thrown down among a million same.
difficult not to feel a little bit disappointed
and passed over
when i've looked right through
to see you naked and oblivious
and you don't see me.
but i threw you the obvious
just to see if there's more behind the eyes
of a fallen angel,
the eyes of a tragedy.
here i am expecting just a little bit
too much from the wounded.
but i see through it all
and see you.
so i threw you the obvious
to see what occurs behind the eyes of a fallen angel,
eyes of a tragedy.
oh well. apparently nothing.
you don't see me.
you don't see me at all.0 -

I love that song Commy. If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.

No, I haven't heard too much from them. I'll have to check them out. They probably have a myspace.

Not to interrupt but excellent choice in music with the Supersuckers.
They're originally from Arizona set up shop here in Seattle right before the grunge thing took off.
I got a picture with Rontrose Heathman, ther guitarist at a show last year. It's still the background on my cell phone.
If they come to your neck of the woods, DO NOT MISS THEM.
You won't be sorry. Eddie Spaghetti the lead singer could probably do stand up he's that funny.

Sorry, I'm excited, somebody else is talking about the Supersuckers.
Also, they just stole Scott Churillo, the drummer, from The Reverend Horton Heat. He was a huge pickup, sincerely probably one of the best drummers I've ever seen.www.myspace.com/olafvonmastadon0 -

I really think that video is kinda... cheesy.
I don't think it's them IMO
But I'll tell you what, some of my favorites of theirs are covers.
The Cowboy Song- Thin Lizzy
Bloody Mary Morning - Willie Nelson
Did you see them backing Willie on the tonite show?

Willie fucked the timing up on that real bad.www.myspace.com/olafvonmastadon0 -

Right In Two
Angels on the sideline,
Puzzled and amused.
Why did Father give these humans free will?
Now they're all confused.
Don't these talking monkeys know that
Eden has enough to go around?
Plenty in this holy garden, silly monkeys,
Where there's one you're bound to divide it.
Right in two.
Angels on the sideline,
Baffled and confused.
Father blessed them all with reason.
And this is what they choose.
And this is what they choose...
Monkey killing monkey killing monkey
Over pieces of the ground.
Silly monkeys give them thumbs,
They forge a blade,
And where there's one
they're bound to divide it,
Right in two.
Right in two.
Monkey killing monkey killing monkey.
Over pieces of the ground.
Silly monkeys give them thumbs.
[ Lyrics found on http://www.metrolyrics.com ]
They make a club.
And beat their brother, down.
How they survive so misguided is a mystery.
Repugnant is a creature who would squander the ability to lift an eye to heaven, conscious of his fleeting time here.
Cut it all right in two
Cut it all right in two
Cut it all right in two
Cut it all right in two
Fight over the clouds, over wind, over sky
They fight over lies, over blood, over anger and rage,
Fight over love, over sun,
over night, they fight till they die,
over one, for their lives beginning.
Angels on the sideline again.
Been so long with patience and reason.
Angels on the sideline again
Wondering when this tug of war will end.
Cut it all right in two
Cut it all right in two
Cut it all right in two
RIGHT IN TWO!
Right in two...0 -

Great song, indeed! Another great song from that album:
The Pot
Who are you to wave your finger? You must have been out your head.
I hold deep in muddy waters, you practically raised the dead
Rob the grave to snow the cradle, then burn the evidence down.
Soapbox house of cards and glass, so don't go tossing your stones around.
You must have been high
You must have been high
You must have been…
Foot in mouth and head up ass, so whatcha talking 'bout?
Difficult to dance round this one, till you pull it out, boy.
You must have been so high
You must have been so high
Steal, borrow, reap and save your shady inference.
Kangaroo done, hung the juror with the innocent.
Now your withered seeds are chosen
And the golden images up in your eye.
When you pissed all over my black kettle, you must have been high, high.
You must have been high, high.
Who are you to wave your finger? So full of it.
Eyeballs deep in muddy waters, fucking hypocrite
Liar, lawyer, mirror show me, what's the difference?
Kangaroo done, hung the guilty with the innocent
Now your withered seeds are chosen
And the golden images up in your…
High, high.
When you pissed all over my black kettle, you must have been…
So who are you to wave your finger? Who are you to wave your fatty fingers at me?
You are clearly out of your mind.
Leaving things out in the ground, trapped without a reason, leaving things out in the ground…
Liar, lawyer, mirror, foil, what's the difference?
Kangaroo, beast, don't needs guilt in every government.
Now your withered seeds are chosen
And the golden images up in your eye, eye.
When you pissed all over my black kettle, you must have been high, high, high, high.
Eyeballs deep in muddy waters. Eyeballs deep in muddy waters.
Catch up with lies.
You must happen.
Hurts on mine. The greatest obstacle to discovery is not ignorance,
but the illusion of knowledge.

The Yeah Yeah Yeah Song ~ Flaming Lips
If you could blow up the world with the flick of a switch
Would you do it?
If you could make everybody poor just so you could be rich
Would you do it?
If you could watch everybody work while you just lay on your back
Would you do it?
If you could take all the love without giving any back
Would you do it?
And so we cannot know ourselves or what we'd really do...
With all your power
With all your power
With all your power
What would you do?
If you could make your own money and then give it to everybody
Would you do it?
If you knew all the answers and could give it to the masses
Would you do it?
No No No No No No Are you crazy?
It's a very dangerous thing to do exactly what you want...
Because you cannot know yourself or what you'd really do...
With all your power
With all your power
With all your power
What would you do?If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.
Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth.

Do You Realize - that you have the most beautiful face
Do You Realize - we're floating in space -
Do You Realize - that happiness makes you cry
Do You Realize - that everyone you know someday will die
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know
You realize that life goes fast
It's hard to make the good things last
You realize the sun doesn't go down
It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
Do You Realize - Oh - Oh - Oh
Do You Realize - that everyone you know
Someday will die -
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know
You realize that life goes fast
It's hard to make the good things last
You realize the sun doesn't go down
It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
Do You Realize - that you have the most beautiful face
Do You Realize
Her name is Yoshimi - she's a black belt in karate
Working for the city - she has to discipline her body -
Cause she knows that it's demanding to defeat these
Evil machines - I know she can beat them -
Oh Yoshimi
They don't believe me
But you won't let those
Robots defeat me
Oh Yoshimi
They don't believe me
But you won't let those
Robots eat me
Those evil natured robots - they're programmed to
Destroy us - She's gotta be strong to fight them -
So she's taking lots of vitamins - cause she knows that
It'd be tragic if those evil robots win - I know
She can beat them -standin above the crowd
he had a voice that was strong and loud and
i swallowed his facade cos i'm so
eager to identify with
someone above the crowd
someone who seemed to feel the same
someone prepared to lead the way0 -
You forgot a sampling of the second song Mr Kabong. No worries, I've found one.
