you're right. they don't. who here is an expert that can really say? not one. we just pass BS around and come up with hair brained theories. it's our way of wasting time. it's our way of pointing fingers. people think if they say it enough others will start to believe.

Kind of like the blur that is supposed to be an airplane hitting the pentagon? Hell the feds got their hands on some super tape and seem to not be able to put out a half decent pic. To you and some who think there were no strings attached that blur is super proof. To others it is just another link in a long chain of a half decent plan.
You've changed your place in this world!

In my opinion there have not been any facts posted that support these claims. An you are right about plenty of 'conspiracies' including numerous people. I for one believe in the JFK conspiracy but it would have involved a handful of people on the inside and the people who were outside that circle were killed. In this instance we are talking about hundreds and hundreds of people who would have to be involved and to me that just isn't possible.

But hey, I like you and have read a lot of your posts and you are obviously a smart person. We will just have to agree to disagree on this one.

forensics have proven that JFK was killed by oswald alone. in fact; they proved it couldn't have happened any other way. beyond a shadow of a doubt. so for 42 years we had conspiracy theories running rampant but the original report proved to be what actually happened.

you're right about the nimber of people that had to be involved. especially someone coming in and cutting structural beams. BUT; when people are involved in things; they talk about it. they usually give information that can be verified. that hasn't happened yet.
people need to get on with their lives or get a life. nothing will change what happened and the sewage they spew only opens the wounds of those traumatised by the incident.

the people writing stories and appearing on talk shows are the ones making the profit. especially retired government workers. none have come up with any solid evidence; they only cast doubts so the sheep will follow.

if bush had any profit from the attack; i'd like someone to tell me what it was. it actually cost him. it cost him popularity and he couldn't follow through with projects and programs he wanted to do. so he paid the highest price.

what programs?? ... ha!! ... he doesn't have any ... ever since his "axis of evil" speech - it's been clear that war was the only thing on his agenda ...

and he's succeeded large ... him and cheney's buddies have made a killing ... all the while - during crisis after crisis - dude still manages to take more vacation and spend time at the ranch then anyone else ...

Only after that mistake. 911 made him a god and he couldn't even run with that properly.

the guy had support. far from having the world in his pocket. the UN should have entered iraq long before bush became president. at that time; saddam proved to the world that international law will not be enforced. he proved to every other country that they can build nuclear weapons and refuse inspection by the UN without penalty.
at that time we had the do-nothing clintons in office who allowed the 1993 WTC bombing and the numerous other bombings that followed which ranged from airplanes to casinos. if clinton took action in 1993; the 2001 attack would never have happened. back then bin ladin wasn't as strong as he was in 2001. he didn't have as many followers and he wasn't world wide as he was in 2001.
so if you need to point fingers; it was clinton's fault. bush was only in office when it happened but they were training for the attack long before bush was elected.

how? how did he make a profit? i hear this bs all the time but not one person can produce a money trail. his tax returns are public record so show me the money.

as far as thinking things through; i find no better place than my ranch. and a holiday is the perfect thing to clear a mans mind. i'm sure everyone would feel better if he spent his time chasing interns and getting bj's under the desk in the whitehouse.

really ... you need to get over the clinton thing ... to gripe over interns and blow jobs when we have an administration that tells lies to take a country to war where thousands have suffered is not even close to being comparable ...

i dunno about bush's profits - but what about cheney? ... still owns stock in haliburton ... what about daddy bush who heads the carlysle group? ... it's about all those cronies that have benefited from bush being in power ...

and in case you haven't guessed it ... there are a few who believe 9-11 was an inside job ... me being one of them ... so, any reference to what clinton could or didn't do means nothing to me ...

9-11 was the catalyst that allowed americans to give this administration carte blanche ... they needed it to do what they've done and continue to reap the rewards ...

so explain to me what you think happened. i'm being serious. who knew what? who made the plans? who attacked our country?

bush, cheney, the PNAC board members, sat in a room and drew up plans for 9/11 while sipping starbucks? please help me find the truth. and please dont post websites. I'd like to know how it happened according to you.

nice to have you here earle

check who profits from inventing the mysteries. if you can't believe your eyes then you can't believe your mind. nobody profited from 9/11. it cost us all something whether it be tax dollars or losing a loved one.
look at the fact that even if washington knew the time of the attack a week in advance; what could they do? a preemptive strike would have put the world in an uproar. the hijackers were already in the us so grounding all aircraft would have been the only solution. once again the country would be in an uproar.
conspiracy theories sell books and tele shows. that's where the profit is. there was also a lot of profit to anyone that had pictures or video of the attack. that day brought the highest price; it was lower the next day. anyone with video sold it and it was public within a week. now we see videos surfacing 6 years later. do you think this person saved this video or maybe doctored an existing video?
if bush had any profit from the attack; i'd like someone to tell me what it was. it actually cost him. it cost him popularity and he couldn't follow through with projects and programs he wanted to do. so he paid the highest price.

Without getting into the myriad of people/corps profitting from the illegal war that had initial public support because of that day….
Larry Silverstein got a $5.7 billion insurance settlement out of a $15 million dollar initial investment in the WTC….and got rid of three buildings that needed over a billion in retrofit work….for free.
Someone cashed in huge on put options placed on the airlines.
The airlines themselves received billions in bailout money (didn't have time to search numbers, sorry).
I'm sure Enron, the California Power Authority, et al saved a few bucks in fines and legal fees when the Securities and Exchange Commission was destroyed along with WTC 7.
Someone profitted from all the booty that went missing from the basement of the towers (some estimate up to $16 billion in gold alone, plus art, guns, drugs, etc. seized in CIA raids).
Who in the media profitted from half the world being glued to their tvs for days back in 01?
Who in Homeland Security, the CIA, SS, FBI, etc. stand to profit from all of the increased funding?

You can compare this to some guy selling a video or tv appearance for a couple grand?
No way….this went down the same as it always does…the rich got richer…the rest of you pay more taxes and insurance.
It's akin to saying, "shoplifting hurts us all"…well no, it doesn't….the guy getting away with all stolen goods is not being hurt by the price increases, is he?

check the post I quoted....onelongsong sounds like no one but a guy with a handi-cam and a theory made money off of 9/11. I'm not saying everyone that made money from 9/11 was involved. But I think Silverstein had prior knowledge....maybe an exec or two from the airlines...and whomever placed the put options...and whomever ended up with the missing treasure...Enron, California Power, etc probably just had a favour returned ;)

    Here's my take:
The World Trade Centers came down due to planes flown by Egyptians and/or Saudi Arabians crashing into them... the breeching of the support structures due to the impact and ensuing fires... and gravity.
The Pentagon was struck by a Boeing 767 at a low angle of attack.
Lee Harvey Oswald shot President John F. Kennedy for reasons we will never know about.
What crashed at Roswell, New Mexico came from planet Earth.
There is no such thing as Santa Claus, The Easter Bunny, The Tooth Fairey, The Liberal JEW Media or the War On Christmas.

everyone had knowledge. the security guard informed everyone that another attack will happen and they'll probably use planes. that was after the 1993 attack. that particular piece of realestate had to be worth millions. he lost that. the rent was astronomical so he lost all that income. based on rent and property value over a 10 year period; he lost a lot of money.

I believe the FBI knew attacks were going to occur... but, they failed to connect the dots due to short comings in inter-agency communications and over inflated egos.

I don't know about the C.I.A. and don't believe many outsiders (including politicians) know, either.
I believe that the C.I.A. are smart and conniving and I don't put anything past them... and the current Bush Administration is too bumbling to successfully execute such a complex scheme and if they did, they are way too arrogant to keep it a secret.

I don't even believe the bush admin is so stupid like everyone believes. Their inadequacies in this war have been purposeful. They never planned on pulling out of Iraq (thus the large bases we're building there) and it's faaaar too easy to just simply write it off as mistakes. They want it to be a complete disaster to justify our never ending presence there.

I can't say I know who all exactly was involved but I can say there is too much info out there that looks beyond just fishy to me.

From my understanding, the tower's tenancy was so low that he was actually LOSING money, and would have over a 10 year period. Also from my understanding, b/c it was a money pit, and needed over a billion in retrofitting/repairs/asbestos removal (this was ORDERED, not something they wanted to do voluntarily), he only paid 15 million to take it over from the Port Authority.
He walked away with 5.7 billion...then split the money with the Port Authority and let them take over reconstruction....so he essentially was handed 2.85 billion for nothing. Before 9/11 he was losing money monthly, and was being forced to spend a billion on outdated buildings.

I agree... the Bush Administration IS NOT stupid... they are arrogant. But, you and I differ, here.
I believe they really BELIEVED that it would be a simple task... eliminating Saddam Hussein. That it could be accomplished in such a fashion that the whole thing would be wrapped up by the November 2004 elections. The landing on the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln in an aviator's flight suit... what a great photo op for the re-election campaign... HAD the Mission, indeed, been Accomplished. A Hero's Welcome Home salute to our victorious troops wiuth a ticker tape parade down Wall Street... a solemn tribute at Ground Zero on September 11, 2004. That would insure a re-election victory by the Republicans... even if the Democrats were to field Jesus Christ, Himself as Bush's opponent. And Cheney... he was looking to clean up with his no-bid rebuilding contracts.
Then, reality apperared. All of this narrow scoped, wishful thinking lead to poor assessments of Iraqi realities and differing possible outcomes. There was never a Plan B... which has lead to this massive screw up. We could get away with leaving 50,000 command, support and logistics personel in Iraq... IF they had welcomed us as Liberators.
We are screwed because this Administration made some horrible.... HORRIBLE decisions and have been trying to hack their way out of it ever since. They don't know what they are doing over there. It was never in their plan.

  • I've done more research and fact finding on the events surrounding 9/11 than probably 99% of any living organism on this planet.

All I can say is if you see a perfectly normal picture of what you are told, analytical thinking is probably not your strongest point.

    Which is fine.

  • What it comes down to is this:

Scientist affirms that 9/11 happened the way everyone saw it happen.

Conspiracy theorists toss out old claims and invent new ones not yet addressed by scientists.

They don't have jobs so it's not like this is difficult for them.

    That's just total nonsense.
