The old newsgroup is still around, I still check it every once in a while. There aren't that many posts about PJ anymore, it's mostly politics but a few of the old regulars still hang out there.Pitt 98, Pitt 00, Cleveland 03, Pitt 03, State College 03, Toledo 04, Toronto 05, Pitt 05, Cleveland 06, Pitt 06 & Chicago 07, Chicago 1&2 09, Philly 2,3,4 09, Cleveland 10, Columbus 10, Alpine Valley 1& 2 110 -

Wait, is that were the term Jamily comes from??? It says they've been a memember since Oct 1999.
If so, oh dear lord no!!! I hate that term, I need to find a way to 12 Monkies it's ass!!!0 -
Does anyone else remember "Brad's Pearl Jam Chat"?0
-
does anyone remember the name of the site - it had a cool forum - it was around in the early 2000's - and the dude running it just shut it down one day, with an infuriating letter of explanation that he wasn't into pj anymore, that he'd moved on to 'fresher' groups like, um, modest mouse, i think was one band he named in preference to the one he'd built a huge site about.
i mean i guess there's lots of dead pj sites, but not many go to the bother of trashing pj on the way out...0 -

HailHailPearlJam.com was a site I made waaay back in the day, but after having my first baby, simply ran out of time... nevermind the name that's listed- it was my alias at the time

I believe you are referring to Adam "Frooch" and pearljamnetwork.com. Great site, nice guy. Got me into Radiohead and White Stripes.0 -
There was a thread about this a couple of weeks ago. Had the site in the first post listed. Might wanna look it up, could give you some more info.0
