Well considering that the EV solo tickets were almost exactly the same price for east coast PJ tickets, alot of people are hoping that the whole band coming out is the April Fools trick. It's just speculation of course....

I think with the warmup shows now played, you should really be expecting EV solo sets (and personally, I can't fucking wait, the sets are gonna be awesome). I am sure we'll be seeing some guests show up on certain nights...maybe that's the April Fool, being it is a "solo" tour and all. Just my 2cents.

Don't get me wrong, I'm going to both San Diego shows and I'm fucking stoked. It may be just me though, but I am expecting something major to happen in regards to the April Fools tour theme. I guess we'll find out come April 2 in Vancouver. Cheers...

I am hitting Santa B, LA1 and LA2...I can't wait...really think these are going to be special shows.
Yeah im stoked to see Eddie at Berkeley 1 and Santa Cruz. It would be so awesome to have only Eddie, but I wouldnt be upset seeing PJ. The cool thing would be seeing PJ in theatres that only hold 2500 people. How intense would that be?

I'm also going to both San Diego shows. ... maybe I am just cynical, but I don't expect anything too surprising at these shows. Just because they named the tour April fools doesn't mean there's going to be any huge surprises ... just a name? I do expect some guests though... but nothing too crazy.
If for some reason you have an extra ticket or two for one of the Berkeley shows, please PM me. I'm turning 30 in April and figured a trip out there may be in order. Thanks.

I think the sets from the seattle warm-up bodes well that he is indeed going to "cover" this whole show himself, enough material in his repertoire, with perhaps a guest or two for a song or so. I'm ok with that, I'm ok with him following his financial advisors advice and charging the same as a full PJ show what with the smaller venue/intimacy/ambiance.
I'd love to see PJ this year, but I'm more and more just saying, "It's ok...." These shows are just something else, and yes, something special!
Went down to Santa Cruz from San Francisco this weekend. Going back next weekend for Ed. It's gonna be such a cool place for a show. I am gonna hit the beach all day, eat fish tacos and drink cold beers, get a little stoney for Ed, then just chill out and listen to the jam.
Then 10C tix on Monday for Berkeley 1. I don't think I am going to check the reports on his shows in Vancouver beforehand. I don't want any expectations or opinions until I see it for myself first.
I got it one ticket for the 4/16 show. It is a TM ticket that is in the first row just off center of the of the stage in the lower balcony. I am looking to trade for any ticket to the 4/15 night one show. I am in town on business but I am having trouble switching to a later flight to be able attend the 4/16 show.
Seriously considering a drive down to Santa Barbara now!
My santa cruz just came through and a new friend here made sure I got into Berkeley 1!!! I'm pretty sure I have the first row availabe to the public for Berkeley 2 -- ORCH ROW O.
man I shoulda done 10C sooooo long ago -- but hey, i'm ready for their west coast tour now!!!
Trying to figure out an appropriate bonus gift for my new friend who's letting me snag her extra 10C ticket -- I always think Dead boots (like how 'bout the Frost April 30, 1998!!! Seems appropriate!) but most likely some REM or mayhaps Floyd or STones is a more mainstream "thank you!"
Ah! Dang, that sucker sold fast, well they all did of course. Oh yeah, your right -- dang, I coulda clicked faster and gotten MUCH closer!!!
Good to see not many tickets much closer than me -- maybe a dozen closer than O!
TONIGHT! I'm just listening over and over to ITW and thinking, c'mon, he's gotta bring out a backing band to play some of the main songs right! Seattle was just a warm-up for his FIRST set! Right? RIGHT?!?!?!
