    what makes Rolands source fact?
Well, for one, most scholars quoted seem to indicate it as the truth. The link you sourced is the same one that was the center of the controversy. See the wikipedia link below.

Second, if you can be bothered to examine the farsi quote and do your own translation, you might see for your self.

    Third, even wikipedia says so.

And despite what you may think, wikipedia IS moderated and edited for accuracy. One need only to look at a heavily contested area like tax-protestor argument articles to see that there are pages of discussion once an article is flagged as bias by any registered user.

Quit acting so dense just because you are incorrect on this.
I've been wrong before, and I have been man enough to just cough it up.
[and before you say, "oh yeah, when?" go look at some of my old 911 posts]
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

uhh ... this isn't the first time this has been discussed ... i said the same thing way back and in countless threads ...

these statements are meant to manipulate the public ... that's why they call it propaganda ... and there is a reason why it works ... cuz people want to hear things sometimes ...

this statement has been used as the primary reason to wage a "war of sorts" on iran for years now ... it's like the whole saddam and WMD ... reality and facts are irrelevant to the master manipulators ...

truth and perspective is all you need here ...

I dont doubt that this is all a war of words. but if he never said that then why hasnt he defended himself from the countless world leaders (some arab leaders who are his friend) that condemn that speech?

The truth is staring you in the face and you still don't want to see it.

You truly do follow the herd.

And if it's in the media it MUST be true?

there are different interpretations of what he said. I posted one and so did roland. both are different. what makes his true and not mine?

and if he never said "wipe off the map", why hasnt he defended himself from all the world leaders who have condemned his speech?

again ... irrelevant ... it's just all smoke and mirrors used to defuse you from the true evil ... which is multi-nationals dictating foreign policy that is spurning these wars everywhere ...

we are being brainwashed with misinformation and ambiguity while travesties are being committed in the name of freedom and liberty ... that is the biggest fraud out there ...

    And your point is?

Does it look like the crap that was reported or not?

"The Imam said this regime occupying Jerusalem must vanish from the page of time"

I think the regime occupying Washington DC should vanish from the pages of time.

Iran's Foreign Minister Denies That Iran Wants To Wipe Israel Off The Map

How come Bush said he saw the first plane hit the tower on TV, which is impossible, but he never denied it? Even after all those 911 truthers condemned him for it?

You don't think that maybe Bush knows what he really meant, and isn't going to bother with it?

At least Ahmadinejad had his Foreign Minsiter address the issue.

    ;)

    You got schooled by youtube.
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

    No problem, brother.

Despite what I may say sometimes, I do believe you are a good person.
I just think you let pride get in the way of your sight sometimes.
    We all do it.
Lord knows I'm as guilty as anyone.
