    I also got my single today, but it got wet a bit. It's not too bad though.

    Aww, I'd go to see them in Aussie, but I don't think I can afford the show tickets, plus plane tickets, plus getting a new visa :(

    OK heres an idea..... who wants to pay for me to go to an australian show??? haha, yeah right... i'm quite happy with what i can get.... and i really hope thats auckland... (but thanks for the offer) ;)

    Emirates have flights for about $200 (plus taxes and surcharges, I guess) but they only fly there in the evening and back in the morning but it's daily. Don't know how much extra the taxes etc will be. The quote I got from Flight Centre was about $750 all up but that was Qantas that has their flights at about $250 each way. So that gives you some idea, if you went Emirates you might get it for $650 or so?

    Air New Zealand have some packages on their website for about $700 return to Melbourne including 4 nights accomodation, seems a good deal.

    I've got my local House of Travel on the case. Mine's a bit more complex, cos of going to Adelaide too and trying to get a direct flight back from there. I think it should work out OK, I'll probably try and stay in hostels or something, most seem to have double rooms with ensuites for pretty cheap (under $100 a night). I don't know where else to stay...

    yeah, i'm still going for the 'wait for auckland dates to be announced' theory...... seriously cant afford aussie..but i guess if i want it bad enough

    What I have done is made friends with a lovely lady in Melbourne who has no Pearl Jam friends (like me) and she is going to share her 10C ticket with me. I'm hoping I there is a NZ show but if the worst should arise I know I've got 10C ticket waiting for me in Aussie. Just a matter of getting flights. I've got 2 possible cheap accomodation sources sorted.

    So, are you staying at her place?
    Otherwise what cheap accommodation to you have? I'm thinking of renting a place for the week, there are places like that I think...

    I'm pretty annoyed right now. I had the possiblity of getting flights from the AirNZ website, to MEL return from ADL for 2 people for ~$1270. House of Travel Browns Bay were meant to get back to me with a package yesterday, they didn't. I rang them yesterday afternoon to see what was up and apparently there was a lady that doesn't work Tuesdays that must have been the one that talked to me and she was back in the office today. So I rang today and it wasn't her and no one there remembers talking to me on Monday. So I decide just to buy the tickets of the website and they have gone up to ~$1550! Great, thanks to the incompetence of House Of Travel I lost about $300.

    still havent heard.... what month is the rolling stone??? mines in my car, but i'm..... oh dammit i have to go check now....no mines the may isue wit the sex pistols on the front and a small article on PJ... welll thats tomrorows job then....
