Yup, theres the old mushroom midprice masters, they sound pretty terrible. But then there is the new limited digipacks, remastered by Eddie Ranyer (Enz Keyboardist), 2 of them are also remixed. Some also have extra tracks.

Kev youre alright by me my boy, it should be around all year. Winter Ale is shite.

And you being an avid Monteiths Summer fan are alright by me also!

I haven't tried the winter ale. I know i'll just be disappointed :(

Dont go near it mate, its horrible. I had a pint of it last winter and I swore never to go near the stuff again. Celtic is probably the best of the rest, golden is horrible too in my opinion and the others are pretty standard. I bet they sell a shitload of Summer ale in season, and no winter stuff. Ive been all round the world, and its the best beer ive ever tasted. I dont think theres a more beautiful thing than a pint on a hot Fri arvo after work in the sun.
So I look forward to a couple of cold ones in the sun before the big Vector gig in November. Hope its a Thurs coz Fri means I cant go out after and if its a Saturday ill struggle to get there early.

I can see that we're gonna be great pals haha!

My Friday tradition in summer after work is to stop at the wholesaler on the way home and pick myself up some, go home, turn up the stereo and chill out with some ice cold Monteiths Summer. Oh man im drooling now :( haha

Man you got me excited too...I wonder what month they bring it out in?Thats what I remember about the Foo's concert, sitting at home with their new cd cranked drinking Summer ale getting ready to go to Supertop. Heres to doing that again this summer.
But out of the tap is the best way to enjoy it, the big pints at the Monteiths pub down the rd go down far too well. Bring on summer!!!Oh and I meant to mention, when they go out of circulation late in summer they give em away cheap. At my local (Basalt in Howick) we had a whole night free drinking it on my mates bday. That was sweeeeet

You mean they actually sell it on tap?!?!?!?!?!? holy shit! where abouts? :O! haha

Yeah man, not at the moment though obviously...I actually found a place where they had a few bottles left but I wouldnt go there for a casual drink. Monteiths bars like Malt in Grey Lynn, Villager in Remmers, Basalt in Howick (these are the ones I Know about) always sell it on tap in summer. I spend many a Wed night at Basalt with my summer friend.

Has anyone seen this on C4/Juice yet? Ive kept flicking over and seen WWS a couple of times, but no Life Wasted. I have however seen alot of Chris Brown, which is no good thing.

I thought I brought it back on topic nicely with the Life Wasted video. Im bidding on Easy Street CD as we speak. If it goes above 25 ill know what to do....not buy it. Theres only 7 tracks on there I think all its got in terms of worth to me is completing a collection.

Nice find! Good condition? Hell, for $15 I'd buy it regardless. I pretty much figured there's no chance of finding that in NZ.

As for Easy Street, I just bought 3 copies from Easy Street and it came to $42 including shipping, in case anyone is interested.

You guys get it in Canada? Man you guys have great taste in here. Seafood pizza is tops. But not as tops as the old seafood pie from Georgie Pie...sorry to derail this thread somewhat but these are all great memories. I dont think youd be the only one who doesnt like it though, few of my mates dont like it so much.
And Bazzer whyd you buy 3? Thats a sweet price for three though. At the end of the day im only buying it to have it, which without a job at the mo I dont think I should be doing.

To flick off on trademe of course! That's nearly 80% profit per disc! ;) Actually, I'm lucky enough to have friends that like them too, so we pooled our order.

Youd better buy heaps of down under posters then, those things seems to go for mint on Ebay. Do you actually have an interest in this cd or just to fill the collection? Ive already got this show on my computer, I cant believe they didnt put the performance of the old Crapshoot on it.

  • Hey Scott have you got anymore insider info??? I should really compile all the rumours together like the Aussie thread had (before the rumours were confirmed).

What's not to have an interest in? An offically released (partial) bootleg? I'm assuming the quality is better than anything from that show already released.

And also for my collection. I couldn't handle there being an official release that is so cheap and easy to get and not have it. I mean I don't own all the singles or retail bootlegs or even want to, but albums and EPs, most definitely... I'm still trying to get the digipak Ten and VS.

Yeah its just the partial part of it that gets me. Why 7 songs out of a great set that was 16 songs long? For me ill probably buy it, but I already have the set on my computer. Im trying to fill my collection out with singles/boots (at least one from each tour) and other stuff. I thought about collecting the vinyls but I might pass.
I hope you make a mint if you wanna find those digipaks...I saw one going for US200 the other day on Ebay.

Yeah, I collect the vinyl too. My girlfriend bought me LOTL back in the day and that started me off. Again, its only the hard stuff that I don't have (early xmas singles, basketball ten, soldier field - although that's not official so I'm not that bothered). I'd pay the money for them, but it's too risky when they've got to come from so far away...
Enzed, what condition was the 91 single in?

  • Fuck. I want my "Pearl Jam" LP. And Pearl Jam show.

Wat songs are people looking forward to?

Personally I wouldn't mind if they played mostly hits. But I'd love some rarities. If I happen to meet Ed before the show I'll ask him for some B-Sides.
