ummm...yeah...you were 4 years old when you got into pj....okay. and you were 8 when you got into the grunge scene...okay. stop trying to be older than you are man. but thanks for the laugh

He never said he was a rabid fan at the age of 4, he said he was aware of PJ when Daughter came out and let me tell you one thing, you ask any of my kids who sings that song (inset whatever PJ title here) and they'll tell you in no time "Pearl Jam", my 3 year old knows the lyrics and sings to World Wide Suicide, Inmortality and Comatose....

That's what happens when you have hip parents I guess, kids get into bands sooner than anyone wants to believe :D

Born in 79...loved Alive when it came out and I really liked Ten...listened to them pretty often but wasn't crazy until Yield came out and it knocked my socks off...I've been completely head over heals in love with this band ever since that gem of an album hit the shelves.

I first heard of Pearl Jam in 1992, when I was 17 and in 12th grade.
I first saw them in 1995, right before I was 21 (11/6/95 in San Diego)
The last time I saw them was October 2006 at Bridge School.

    31 in febuary.

    i was 15 - 16 at 10th grade when a friend bought "singles" soundtrack.
i heard there this unbelievable song called "Breath" with a vocalist as charismatic as jim morrison. it took me just a few hours to run and buy that bands debut ("Ten" of caurse) and my life was changed
    ever since.

I got into pj around 1998 (with Yield), and I was already 32 then. To make up for the retardation I hardly have been listening to anything else since then. I'm sure I took notice of the band earlier, but I was thinking then they were just "this other band from Seattle" - shame on me ...

Tuesday I'll be 41. I first got into them in 91. I already had Apple and new the fate of that band. Then I saw the Alive video from the band that used to be MLB. Been a huge fan ever since. In the early days you got your boots from under the counter at the local record store and they went for $30-$40 each.
