What time did all of this happen? I got to the window about 5:45pm and there were lines, but it wasn't anything like you guys are describing. There were signs for which last names were for each window, and even though it was a bit cluttered, I didn't see anything like what some of you are saying.I shit and I stink. I'm real, join the club.
A friend, he called, I didn't mention a thing. The last thing he said was, "Be sound". Sound. I contemplated an awful thing, I hate to admit. I just thought those would be such appropriate last words. But I'm still here.0 -

It is quite obvious that a bunch of us got stuck in the 10C ticket lines before the show, and that the organization was not the best by far, especially with not being able to tell what line you were in half the time until you were already standing in the wrong one a half hour before you found out or realized. but to compound it even more some of you were unwilling to let anyone switch lines, even if they had clearly been across from you the whole time. What are we 5 yrs old and insist on being the first inline for the school bus every morning? Instead of just cutting someone some slack, a bunch of you got loud and started yelling for someone that I saw in line for more than half hour to go to the back of the line bc you wouldnt let them in bc they didn't see the peice of paper in the window with letters on it corresponding to your last name beforehand.
The was hardly any consideration amongst fans in those lines last night from what I witnessed and I think it's unfortunate. The ones that I really noticed were the typical guys that nobody wants around them at a show, and typical Philly. You know the loud, obnoxious, think your tough kind. I wish I could have even given you a pass bc you might have been drunk, but you weren't. The same type that decided it was necessary to start pushing me out of line with his size and elbowing me as we rounded a corner bc of that concrete flower/plant bed right in front of the ticket windows. Unnecessary. No wonder people get shot over things as meaningless as basketball jerseys there. You can't even let a fellow fan in the right line.
I let people in front of me that were in the wrong line, and I eventually found a reasonable person that let me slide over in front of them and understood that it wasnt going to end the world as a result.
I wish I could have handpicked you idiots to lose your memberships last night just so I wouldnt ever have to be associated in any way again with your kind.
Neanderthals. The Phillies chants were classy too and confirmed what I thought....Philly. I'm from a suburb, and always corect my friends from out of town when they introduce me as being from Philly, or if any of my local friends say we are from Philly if we are out of town. I'm not from Philly and I don't want to be from Philly, because 9 times out of 10 you act like ignorant trash. It's almost cliche how typical and textbook you are.
I look forward to the MSG shows, where the people have a little more class and consideration...ironically enough.
It is best to arrive early if you can, I had not problems. You are right, I was totally unimpressed with the Philly fans and the city itself. I've been to a few big cities and this is easily the worst; nothing like Boston or Chicago, which are wondeful.SLC 11/2/95, Park City 6/21/98, Boise 11/3/00, Seattle 12/9/02, Vancouver 5/30/03, Gorge 9/1/05, Vancouver 9/2/05, Gorge 7/22/06, Gorge 7/23/06, Camden I 6/19/08, MSG I 6/24/08, MSG II 6/25/08, Hartford 6/27/08, Mansfield II 6/30/08; Eddie Albany 6/8/09, 6/9/09; Philly 10/30/09, 10/31/09; Boston 5/17/10
I thought the world...Turns out the world thought me0 -

This was the first time I have ever had to be in a 10C line as I have always split tix with friends who have better numbers than me, so no, I did not know that the lines were all alphabetical, and by that time I was already more than a half hour in. Once I did realize, it was still confusion anyway because the lines were melding together at somepoint here and there, so chalk that to my ignorance, but innocently enough.
And technically it wasnt like I walked up straight out of the parking lot and tried to cut in the middle of the line. Huge difference. I wasnt the guy that doesnt want to wait in the line of traffic at the turnpike exit and goes all the way to the front and nudges in....I'm the guy mistakenly in the EZ Pass lane that needs to get into a Cash line....you would just make that person have to go through the EZ Pass anyway and get hit with a fine? Yep, you are. You were prob one of the people I was standing by last night if you were there by your attitude.
nah Im not that guy, but I understand why you got shit

Same here. I thought the Q-S line would be huge, but it was actually really easy.First of all: I am tired. I am true of heart!
And also: You are tired. You are true of heart!

Your an idiot... What time did you get in line 8:15? And then you blame Philly people for your stupidity... Classic. Blame everyone but yourself. Did your mommy and daddy give you money to go on tour with the band? Cause you sound like a little kid that needs a diaper change....0
-
what are all you complaining about? i got to the place about 7:20. i walked all the way up to each of the windows to see which letters of members last names they were giving tickets to. then i walked to the end of that line and waited for the tickets. why does it have to be so hard for you people? and why do you always have to complain about something? is that like a liberal or democratic thing? i got my tickets and hoped they were good but if they weren't or even close to the lawn i would have still had a damn good rockin time. STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT EVERYTHING.0

As unfortunate as your situation was, to stereo-type Philly fans (some of the most passionate people about their music and sports), is quite frankly "ignorant"...
To quickly correct someone that your "not from Philly"...does that make you better than us? I grew up in the suburbs of Philly, and am proud to "be from Philly". It is a gorgeous city with so much at your fingertips...to deny any of that adds to your ignorance...
For you to be "the guy mistakenly in the EZ Pass lane that needs to get into a Cash line", well, maybe the problem is with you...pay attention to your surroundings, and maybe we won't have to stereo-type YOU as "clueless".
Yes, there are idiots everywhere, but you shouldn't generalize and be so insulting........
Cheers!

Seriously! Since when does getting irritated with assholes have anything to do with being liberal vs. conservative or Democrat vs. Republican?2006: Boston I, Camden II
2007: Chicago
2008: Hartford, Mansfield I & II, EV Boston
2009: Philly III & IV

I have no idea. I always thought it was a universal trait that was found in every human being.0 -
They definitely fixed the problem tonight! Separated lines by barricades. Bigger signs, printed instead of handwritten, and posted well above each line so you could see from way far out.
Once again, proving they do listen to complaints and work to fix things.*Rock and/or Roll!*0 -

I was lucky enough to get mine before the lines got too bad, but I stood around for a while after, waiting for some friends, and watched the line develop. I couldn't figure out why people were just blindly getting in line behind other people. There hasn't been a single line for tickets since 2003, I believe. Every time after, it's been split alphabetically with several windows open.
That's exactly right. The first thing I do when I get to the Fan Club ticket window is look for my letter on the window. I then ask the people in line if I'm in the correct line. How difficult is that? If you don't know the procedure by now and you're in the fan club then that's your problem. I wouldn't let anyone cut in line either.0 -
Get_Right wrote:seriously????
you got in the wrong line and wonder why people wouldnt let you cut?
Id be pissed too. Everybody wanted to get their tix as soon as possible, and we were all waiting-why should I (and everyone else in line) wait longer because you got in the wrong line? we shouldnt.
God forbid you have to wait 5 more minutes."I don't believe in PJ fans but I believe there is something, not too sure what." - Thoughts_Arrive0 -
My problem with camden 1st night was that 10c said to pick up tickets at 2pm. Turns out Camden was going to release tickets at 3pm so quite a few people came and couldn't get their tickets. Then this business suit dude comes and says something like 'I have an appointment that in NYC and i got to be there and i want my tickets' so once they gave him his tickets, they had to give everybody their tickets.
So its Camden box office fault, they have no idea when to start.Too many shows to list:
From my first show in Hawaii when they opened for RHCP to upcoming 2016 MSG and Wrigley. Seen them in every continent except Africa and Antarctica.0 -

Sorry pal, to make a statement like that makes me not to want to be associated with you.
As far as the mess that was ticket distribution yesterday, honestly I think a lot of the problems were created with the way they were dispersed. You couldn't see the signs and it was poorly organized.Let's not be negative now. Thumper has spoken0 -
to add, the camden shows are always good but the fans drive me nuts, you would think they were handing steroids out in the parking lots, so many ignorant people outwaying the amount of good ones. Some people have religion I have Pearl Jam.
no more shows0
