I have to say that some of you are real assholes. Some of you are just ignorant and obnoxious and selfish and I'm emabarrassed for you.

It is quite obvious that a bunch of us got stuck in the 10C ticket lines before the show, and that the organization was not the best by far, especially with not being able to tell what line you were in half the time until you were already standing in the wrong one a half hour before you found out or realized. but to compound it even more some of you were unwilling to let anyone switch lines, even if they had clearly been across from you the whole time. What are we 5 yrs old and insist on being the first inline for the school bus every morning? Instead of just cutting someone some slack, a bunch of you got loud and started yelling for someone that I saw in line for more than half hour to go to the back of the line bc you wouldnt let them in bc they didn't see the peice of paper in the window with letters on it corresponding to your last name beforehand.

The was hardly any consideration amongst fans in those lines last night from what I witnessed and I think it's unfortunate. The ones that I really noticed were the typical guys that nobody wants around them at a show, and typical Philly. You know the loud, obnoxious, think your tough kind. I wish I could have even given you a pass bc you might have been drunk, but you weren't. The same type that decided it was necessary to start pushing me out of line with his size and elbowing me as we rounded a corner bc of that concrete flower/plant bed right in front of the ticket windows. Unnecessary. No wonder people get shot over things as meaningless as basketball jerseys there. You can't even let a fellow fan in the right line.

I let people in front of me that were in the wrong line, and I eventually found a reasonable person that let me slide over in front of them and understood that it wasnt going to end the world as a result.

I wish I could have handpicked you idiots to lose your memberships last night just so I wouldnt ever have to be associated in any way again with your kind.
Neanderthals. The Phillies chants were classy too and confirmed what I thought....Philly. I'm from a suburb, and always corect my friends from out of town when they introduce me as being from Philly, or if any of my local friends say we are from Philly if we are out of town. I'm not from Philly and I don't want to be from Philly, because 9 times out of 10 you act like ignorant trash. It's almost cliche how typical and textbook you are.

I look forward to the MSG shows, where the people have a little more class and consideration...ironically enough.

Wow bro. Not sure what to say but sorry.
When I got my tix it was right when there was only two lines and no one saw that there were different ones depending on your name. I did not see any problems like that. If I did I would have helped you in two fucking seconds. I am from Jersey not Philly and not all people from philly are bad, but some are fucking text book assholes. Really sorry that happened to you and no one stepped in when someone they got ruff with you.

That's almost like the exact opposite of the Gorge, where people are asking me "do you want to stand with us?" when the Line is a quarter mile long and not moving.

There are really too many obnoxious fans though. People standing in line for 12 hours. People pissing in cups because they don't want to miss 3 minutes of a song they've seen 15 times. People complaining that the opening song is bad and ruins the whole setlist

There are many fans that I've met that have all been amazing people. Funny how almost all of them are banned from here  , but that's another story all together. But there really are too many people absolutely Psycho about a band. Pearl Jam are just guys who make fucking music and want everyone to have fun. Too bad a lot of us that go to shows have no clue about the message.

The Gorge line people were cutting left and right - that was the worst 10c line I had ever seen - though Vegas 03 was not much fun either.

Hey Barely Alive sorry you had to deal w/that typical Philly thing-hope by end the show was worth it. That sucks tho! Heard people inside were wondering why the late start-someone said it was because there were still so many in 10c line.

I'm going tonite & hope for decent seats too! Heard a rumor that some 10c tix were still on lawn. Gonna have to start going more remote to get better seats w/my mbr# I, too am an unfortunate Philly suburbanite & know exactly what you mean. Last time I was @ Tweeter -or whatever they're calling it now-we got the constant "Eagles Chant"

Hope show was good & enjoy MSG-wish I could be there 2!

It was the longest line I'd ever seen ;) but it was computer problems that caused it. People weren't ready to beat someone's ass for cutting in line.

I'd like to thank my camping neighbors again for letting me get my tickets ;)

Sean- sorry to hear that, it fucking sucks. There are a ignorant assholes everywhere and rock shows in this area seem to bring them out more. However, you would think that being in this fan club might bring a little more civility or at least common decency to people. I guess we know that answer to that. Hopefully, those assholes and their antics didn't ruin the show last night but I'm sure it left a sour taste in your mouth.

Hope it goes better tonite and hopefully we'll get to catch up.

You made some good points......in addition, I didnt see any behavior like that with the Florida shows....which makes me wonder about the East coast fans....Philly especially.... Maybe some "fans" are a bit too spoiled, and have come to expect perfection from the 10C & the entire process?? Is 10C responsible for people not choosing the right line?? Moronic. I understand people not wanting others to "cut" however, arent we all supposed to be "family"? On top of that, people constantly complain about seats. The world is not perfect, and neither is the ticket process, but dont place blame on someone else for your lack of attention. (and no, Barely Alive, Im not talking about you!!! :D)

Sorry pal, to make a statement like that makes me not to want to be associated with you.

As far as the mess that was ticket distribution yesterday, honestly I think a lot of the problems were created with the way they were dispersed. You couldn't see the signs and it was poorly organized.

I'm no better than anyone, but I'd like to think there are better people and better ways to treat others being associated as mutual fans. It just got very, well, very caveman-ish at some point, and all I could think was 'It's a shame you aren't somewhere else being a dick at someone elses concert far away from the more reasonable people here.'

It was said from a viewpoint of "Hey we are all here for the same reason right? Can't we just cut each other some slack/understanding?" We will all get where we need to be in the end. No one is taking food from your starving childs mouth, or taking the last loaf. I just like to think, naively enough, that 10C fans would be better to each other in close quarters that's all. I think instead sometimes you have to realize that people are still people, and most times are just more selfish than not, and especially in very irrelevant settings.

I was annoyed and just wanted to rant to purge it before II. The End.

Everybody have a good show tonight!

All you had to do was ask. Just walk up to the front of the lines, ask someone, and then take your rightful place.
I was lucky enough to get mine before the lines got too bad, but I stood around for a while after, waiting for some friends, and watched the line develop. I couldn't figure out why people were just blindly getting in line behind other people. There hasn't been a single line for tickets since 2003, I believe. Every time after, it's been split alphabetically with several windows open.

I got there when it was really bad right before the show, and yea, people were assholes. A lot were. I know exactly the type that you mean... act like they are the fucking ticket police. I'm fairly certain these guys wait on line all day long making sure that they fuck with as many people as possible. They get a kick out of it. Whatever... but the way I did it was I didn't even get the tickets from the correct line. The M-P line was insanely long and I just walked up to the A-B and they gave me tickets. I figured they weren't just going to refuse me and I was right.

I managed to get right up to the window (being at the end of the alphabet has it's perks, always super small lines). Once I got to the line for doors, there were a bunch of "those guys" near me (they were more kids than guys though).
They were trying to beat each other out in PJ knowledge (hey, I love doing trivia with my friends, but this was more of a 'i'm a better fan than you' trivia contest) and planning on how to run from merch table to merch table to get as many posters as they could (guess they didn't know about the wristbands). Thank God their seats were nowhere near me!

Once inside, the people around me were all really cool. Security was working massive overtime though. I'm a rather small person and was ecstatic to get aisle seats (no heads to have to look between!)...but much taller people were sneaking down to the lower sections and would just plant themselves on the aisle, right in front of me. I would just poke them on the shoulder, motion them to the side and wait for security to walk by and clear the aisles, again. A lot of them got very indignant about being asked to return to their seats. It was ridiculous. I waited 10 years for seats that close, I won't go barging in on someone who has waited even longer up in front of me. Nor will I splash my $12 drink on everyone when I become enraged about being asked to return to my seat.

I know the security guard who was working my section, he really keeps on top of things, has fun and makes sure everyone in his section has fun. Had it been anyone else, the aisle probably would have been a huge mess.

    seriously????

you got in the wrong line and wonder why people wouldnt let you cut?

Id be pissed too. Everybody wanted to get their tix as soon as possible, and we were all waiting-why should I (and everyone else in line) wait longer because you got in the wrong line? we shouldnt.

    Sean, that sucks.

The Ten Club line was a bit ridiculous- we were only around 10 people back in line and it was mass confusion. The signs were totally unreadable from more than 10 or 15 feet away and in no sort of order. We saw the signs and just couldn't make out what was on them. If they had written them with a marker or something, it would have solved the whole issue.

    Yes, seriously.

This was the first time I have ever had to be in a 10C line as I have always split tix with friends who have better numbers than me, so no, I did not know that the lines were all alphabetical, and by that time I was already more than a half hour in. Once I did realize, it was still confusion anyway because the lines were melding together at somepoint here and there, so chalk that to my ignorance, but innocently enough.

And technically it wasnt like I walked up straight out of the parking lot and tried to cut in the middle of the line. Huge difference. I wasnt the guy that doesnt want to wait in the line of traffic at the turnpike exit and goes all the way to the front and nudges in....I'm the guy mistakenly in the EZ Pass lane that needs to get into a Cash line....you would just make that person have to go through the EZ Pass anyway and get hit with a fine? Yep, you are. You were prob one of the people I was standing by last night if you were there by your attitude.

What time did all of this happen? I got to the window about 5:45pm and there were lines, but it wasn't anything like you guys are describing. There were signs for which last names were for each window, and even though it was a bit cluttered, I didn't see anything like what some of you are saying.
I shit and I stink. I'm real, join the club.

A friend, he called, I didn't mention a thing. The last thing he said was, "Be sound". Sound. I contemplated an awful thing, I hate to admit. I just thought those would be such appropriate last words. But I'm still here.

Your an idiot... What time did you get in line 8:15? And then you blame Philly people for your stupidity... Classic. Blame everyone but yourself. Did your mommy and daddy give you money to go on tour with the band? Cause you sound like a little kid that needs a diaper change....
  • what are all you complaining about? i got to the place about 7:20. i walked all the way up to each of the windows to see which letters of members last names they were giving tickets to. then i walked to the end of that line and waited for the tickets. why does it have to be so hard for you people? and why do you always have to complain about something? is that like a liberal or democratic thing? i got my tickets and hoped they were good but if they weren't or even close to the lawn i would have still had a damn good rockin time. STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT EVERYTHING.
