Carlos mencia is a loser. I like comedy thats edgey, raw, political and dangerous. I dont like comedians who pretend and are poseurs.

Carlos is a jerk. If someone ripped off a Pearl Jam song and didnt give Pearl jam credit people would be asking for that bands head, but people act like Carlos is some genious.

Bring back the real comedians like Pryor, or Carlin, or Chappelle.

    Really? I wouldn't have guessed that. I haven't had cable in a few weeks, I was going to switch to direct tv but it just seemed so nice without tv in the house...so I left it off. Annnyways, I sure haven't missed his annoying commercials. That guy makes me cringe.

    I actually thought his show was funny at times. I didn't watch regularly. too bad he steals shit.

    I heard so much about him, got kinda interested, watched one of his routines...and haven't watched or listened to him since.

    We've got a lot of witless morons who watch tv. Mencia isn't 'edgy' he's just entirely unoriginal. He's absolutely terrible.

    Pryor and Carlin, and even Chappelle were great. They should fire mencia and show standup in his timeslot.

    I've been a huge fan of his stand up, before he got his own show. His show isn't funny, but his stand up before 2003 was funny.

    What joke is it he's supposedly stolen? I haven't heard about it.

    i'd never heard of this guy until i saw the video of joe rogan on stage calling him out for stealing other comedian's material. apparently he's pretty bad and well known in comedy circles as a hack.

    he's also not even mexican, he's honduran and german, and his real name is ned holness.

    And these are the same group of assholes that when I was a kid told me in case of a nuclear attack, to hide under my desk. You know what they would do? They would come to my school with films to show me how to protect myself from a nuclear fuck holocaust. They would show this giant nuclear fucking bomb just blowing the shit out of everything. Goats and monkeys flying everywhere. The windows of the elementary school- blown out. The teacher- banged up against the fucking blackboard. But... there were the children, hiding safely under their desk. Writing poetry, playing guitar. Every 2 weeks when I was 9, my elementary school would have an air raid drill. I guess to remind me I can die at any minute! ...And i'm sitting there thinking that the adults in my community said I could protect myself from a fire-fuck-ball by hiding under wood. I'm hiding under kindling. Maybe I can get some sticks SO I CAN BURN FASTER! And I thought ‘Wow! If this was a real attack, when the all clear sounded, I can go out to the playground... AND MELT!’

    I don't watch is show on Comedy Central but I did watch his standup and it was funny. Not intellectual and not politically correct but funny. I actually watched a Lewis Black special on HBO on demand last night and liked him. I don't like his hand movements so I thought watching him would bug me but he was funny.
